Papertrey Ink August Release - Day One!

Sentiment staples: Halloween +
CORNER ADORNER: August +
grins & ghouls + a bit More:grins & ghouls
+scared silly

Good morning and welcome to Papertrey Ink's August release- Day 1! Oh.... SO much Halloween-y goodness to share with you, and just wait until you see what the rest of the amazing Papertrey Ink team has created!
Today we have the pleasure of introducing Lizzie Jones' beautiful additions to the Corner Adorner and Sentiment Staples series in Corner Adorner: August and Sentiment Staples: Halloween! And....Heather Nichols has more amazing Halloween designs in the new Ghosts & Ghouls and A Bit More: Ghosts & Ghouls too. And to further compliment your Fall creations, Lexi Daly has designed the clever little monster mash stamp set, Scared Silly!

All of the new stamp sets and products will be available to purchase on August 15th at 10PM ET, on the Papertrey Ink website.

My first project is a study in Halloween simplicity.... lots of bright White, Orange Fizz, black accents and a few perfectly placed, sparkle-y little spiders.

The little spider web fits oh-so-nicely on the Tag Sale: Quilted die and is popped up with a few slivers of dimensional tape (as are the tiny spiders), with the Bitty Big: Orange Fizz stripe as my background.

For my second project, I've created some 'Halloween Memory Match Game' party favors, using the Hinged Gift Card Box to package all of the ghoulish little playing cards. Tied up in True Black Bitty Dot ribbon and accented with a Bloom Builders #3 flower/Ghosts & Ghouls sentiment tag, these make the perfect little party favor!

Oh, such cute presentation in the Bitty Big: Orange Fizz patterned paper......pretty on the outside AND the inside.  Eighteen little cards fit nicely in the Hinged Gift Card box (and make for a challenging game of Halloween Memory Match Game!).

The petite cards are die cut from Stamper's Select White card stock, using the second smallest (3 7/8 x 1 7/8") of the Noted: Simply Stitched A2 Vertical dies and backed with a second layer of Bitty Big: Orange Zest plaid for added stability.

Thank you so much for joining me today! Be sure to check out today's introductory post over on the Papertrey Ink blog and then check in on Amy, Betsy, Dawn, HeatherLaurie, Lizzie, Melissa Phillips, Melissa Bickford, and Stephanie to see how they've used these great new August products. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you tomorrow!

Oh Michelle! The match game is over the top, 'CUTE'! So clever. My grandsons would love it! What a wonderful post you did for Day 1. Your card and project are clean, crisp and showcase each element with pizazz! Honestly, want it all! Looks like it's going to be an expensive month!

Love all of your projects, but the memory match is a favorite! I should do something like this for my kiddos. They’d love it.
