Happy Thursday! Welcome to CTS #332, and another beautiful design from Donna Mikasa. You'll surely find lots of creative inspiration from the DT too, so take a peek and then play along with us!
The pretty Altenew wreath and a beautiful shade of blue helped to create this card......with a good bit of white space, a little polka dotted embossing and a few sparkle-y jewels too! CAS all the way.
There are so many wonderfully designed projects from the DT, so be sure to take a peek and then JOIN in at CAS(E) this Sketch #332!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Kindness'

Thanks for joining us for the newest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Kindness'The amazing inspiration photo is a wonderful starting point. But that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try?
The fabulous photo and the amazing kaleidoscope of color helped with this design. I broke out a NBU stencil and ink blended to my heart's content ....  then die cut a wonky stitched front panel and stamped the crisp and clean sentiment in black.
The DT has provided some a-mazing inspiration, so be sure to hop on over and join the party! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together!

We hope that you'll join in at the Fusion Card Challenge and will enjoy all of the loveliness from the DT and the always amazing gallery!

PROCEDURES:

1. Play with just the sketch challenge.
2. Play with just the inspiration photo challenge.
3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.
4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.

Here's a little nautical/summer-y inspiration, courtesy of this cute MFT set that I picked up at Buffalo Stamps & Stuff. The pretty patterned papers compliment the stamps, in shades of Pure Poppy, Spring Rain and Blueberry Sky. The wonky stitch panel is the perfect finishing touch.

Ink to Paper July 2019 Release - Day 4

ON THE BORDER: FLORAL BLISS
+ PLEASING ENVELOPES: SPECIAL DELIVERY
+ JUST SENTIMENTS: BIRTHDAY

Welcome to the final day of introductions for Ink to Paper's July 2019 Release! There are so many amazing new stamps and dies in this month’s collections. Today, it’s all about flowers (and birthdays!!).

All of the new products will be available July 15th at 10 pm ET!

The On the Border: Floral Bliss is just amazing in it's detail! Whether you use the full A2-sized panel or the smaller half-panel, you're sure to create something beautiful. I've chosen to take a more 'rustic' approach, using Classic Kraft solids and patterns, with pops of red and green. Although it took a little bit of time to fill in the blooms and leaves, I love the look that this creates on my 4.75" x 5" card.

Up next in Jennifer Campbell's Pleasing Envelopes: Special Delivery! Oh, how I love a fancied up envelope........ just to add that little somethin' somethin', making your recipient feel even more special. This is only the tip of the iceberg with the amazing stamp set and I can't wait to create more lovely envelopes and beautifully coordinating cards/tags!

I've incorporated soft shades of Aqua Mist, Blueberry Sky, Spring Rain, Harvest Gold and Spring Moss (and a few sparkle-y bits) on this trio of tags. And just take a peek at that lovely stamped banner, and all of the beautifully hand lettered sentiments that fit within, which helps to create the most beautiful envelopes!

Well, that's all for now! Many thanks for joining me and please be sure to see all of the loveliness that  Kelly, Laurie, Melissa B, Melissa P and Rebecca have created over on the Ink to Paper Blog!

Ink to Paper July 2019 Release - Day 3

BEACHY KEEN + SIMPLY SWEET: HELLO
+ INSIDE GREETINGS: ENDEARING BIRTHDAY

Welcome to the third day of introductions for Ink to Paper's July 2019 release! There are an abundance of beautiful new stamps and dies in this month's collections, including the tropical Beachy Keen, designed by Jennifer Campbell, a bloom-filled Simply Sweet: Hello from Melissa Bickford AND Rebecca Luminarias' lovely Inside Greetings: Endearing Birthday.

All of the new products will be available July 15th at 10 pm ET!

Beach Keen includes two sizes of tropical trees, (I've incorporated a trio of the smaller trees here) with multi-step stamping on both the tree bases and tree tops, allowing for beautiful color variations. I've masked off the top and bottom of my 3.5" x 6" card, and inked up in shades of Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry and Classic Kraft.  An additional layer of Kraft provides dimension to the 'sand', with a sentiment stamped in Cocoa Brown. The front panel is layered with Summer Sunrise on a Classic Kraft card base.

My second series of projects include the blooming Simply Sweet: Hello, in addition to the versatile Inside Greetings: Endearing Birthday.

This gray/yellow combination is one of my favorites....... and I've used the same colors on the card front and card interior. I love the finished look that the florals, frame and Inside Greeting: Endearing Birthday sentiment provide for the inside of the card, and all that's needed in a quick note and signature! ( p.s. - the additional/beautifully footed 'HAPPY birthday' sentiment that can be seen in the photo below is a sneak peek at another new July release, which you will be seeing tomorrow!).

Project number two is another CAS card, with a beautiful rainbow of blooms, combined with crisp black accents and lots of lovely white space. The pretty florals from Simply Sweet: Hello can be layered (as in project #1) or stamped simply as I have here, in an abundance of happy colors. I've added some coordinating enamel dots and a tiny banner as the finishing touches.

For my final duo I've chosen a Rustic White card base and panel, with lots of pretty Greenery, a bit of texture from the Pierced Rectangle dies, lovely scallop layering and a few dimensional blooms to create this cute little 'hello' greeting.  I can imagine this card in a multitude of beautiful summer hues....... which would be so easy to duplicate, once you've decided on your design!

I love the look of a finished/coordinating envelope, and have lined the Rustic White envelopes with Bitty Big stripes in Simply Chartreuse and Harvest Gold.

The finishing touches for this pair included a scattering of dimensional blooms and petite pearls on each of the flowers.

Many thanks for joining me today! Please be sure to take a peek at the Ink to Paper Blog for an abundance of  DT inspiration!

Ink to Paper July 2019 Release - Day 2

Bon voyage + gift card holder: pencil
+ to die for sentiments

Welcome to the second day of introductions for Ink to Paper's July 2019 Release! There are so many amazing new stamps and dies in this month’s collections. Today, we are taking off and showing appreciation with the new Bon Voyage, from Kara Yoder, the a-mazing Gift Card Holder: Pencil and a plethora of coordinating To Die For sentiment dies (each sold separately)!

All of the new products will be available July 15th at 10 pm ET!

Project  #1 is quite girl-y, with it's Sweet Blush, Soft Stone and Weathervane color combination.  Pink airplanes are a thing, right??
I've added a bit of layering on this 4.5" card, using the Shape Shifters: Circle 1 die as my focal point, and the addition of a Soft Stone polka dot  pattern and a soft little cloud from Papertrey Ink's  Baby Mine collection.

Next up is the amazing Gift Card Holder: Pencil die in bright and beautiful hues!  I've die cut my pencil, added lots of letters (Papertrey's Traveler's Journal: Passport Cover dies), the 2.5" wide petite notepad (cut down by a few inches to fit the pencil die) and a tag, decorated with the 'for you' sentiment from the new To Die For collection..... all creating this cute little note pad holder!

The Gift Card Holder: Pencil dies create some great texture too, on both the pencil and the gold band at the base of the pencil. Such a cute little gift for you, or your favorite teacher/student!

Many thanks for joining me today! Please be sure to take a peek at the Ink to Paper Blog for an abundance of  DT inspiration!

Ink to Paper July 2019 Release - Day 1

dandelion wishes + dandelion wishes sentiments + simply sentiments + banner builder: basics
+ Watercolor textures: abstract

Welcome to the first day of introductions for Ink to Paper's July 2019 Release! There are so many amazing new stamps and dies in this month’s collections. Today, we are starting off with the beautiful Dandelion Wishes from Melissa Bickford....chock full of floral images and versatile sentiments. In addition, there's Simply Sentiments, Banner Builder: Basics (which coordinates beautifully with Simply Sentiments) AND another in the Watercolor Textures series!

All of the new products will be available July 15th at 10 pm ET!

My first card includes a trio of the medium sized dandelions from the new Dandelion Wishes ..... embossed in white, shimmered up with a bit of Nuvo Glitter Dots (Silver Moondust), lots of lovely layering, a few pretty patterns and a bit of texture. I love this nature-inspired Classic Kraft/Simply Chartreuse/white color combination!

Project #2 incorporates the new Watercolor Textures: Abstract and the largest curved banner from Banner Builders: Basics (such an apropos title, as this is truly a great 'basic' addition to your die collection!).

Again, I've added a bit of color and sparkle to this 'celebrate' card by stamping the swoosh-like image in shades of Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry, Pale Peony, Hibiscus Burst and Berry Sorbet and then gone over each image with my glue pen and added a bit of Diamond Glitter for the perfect bit of shimmer. I'm thinking that this is so much prettier IRL!

Anyway...... hoping that you are enjoying all of the peeks of Ink to Paper's July release. Please be sure to check out all of the additional inspiration and beauty over on the Ink to Paper Blog!
