Papertrey Ink Make-It-Monday: Petite Pattern Play

Happy Monday! I am over on the Papertrey Ink Blog today for the latest in the Make-It-Monday series for my version of 'Petite Pattern Play', where I challenge you to experiment with some of the smaller images from your larger stamp sets. It's all about free form stamping/playing!

This little pachyderm from Baby Mine is the perfect companion to the petite florals from How Are You Today?, both the solid and outline images. I loved this combination so much that I may have gotten a bit carried away in creating a series in a rainbow of color (Berry Sorbet, Harvest Gold, Orange Fizz, Green Parakeet).

I continued playing with a few more patterns, using the larger of the small 'star burst' stamps from Banners & Pennants, a die cut from Take Three as a guide and a lovely star stamp and sentiment from Stars & Stripes.

Oh.... and a bit more of that same star burst stamp, using a circular die cut from Tag Sale #12 as a guide, to create a background for the cute little fish from Salt Air: Fauna and the perfect petite sentiment from Salt Air: Sentiments. A few Rainstones add a bit of shine to this 4 1/4" square 'Best fishes' card.

Hopefully, you'll be inspired to break out all of those tiny images, start playing with pattern and color and then upload your project(s) to the Papertrey Ink MIM #332 post for a chance to win a $25 Papertrey Ink gift certificate!
Have a wonderful week and many thanks for joining me today for the latest MIM challenge!

Such a great trick to use some of those smaller stamps (that I never see to use), I love this idea, I will definitely give it a try.
Great inspiration and lovely card colors.
