+ nesting basics: ovals
+worth the wait + even more: worth the wait

Welcome to Papertrey Ink's January 2019 Release - Day 2! There are MANY more amazing new Papertrey goodies to sneak peek, and it's all about ways to celebrate!  Rebecca Luminarias has designed the lovely Frame It Out, a clever set of confetti type images with loads of great coordinating sentiments and a frame cut-out die. And, Lizzie Jones' Nesting Basics: Ovals (which will coordinate wonderfully with the soon-to-be-released Nesting Basics: Pierced Ovals)...... a must have for your crafting arsenal! Lastly, there's the beautiful Worth the Wait and the coordinating Even More: Worth the Wait, designed by the lovely Jennifer Campbell. These stamps/dies are perfect for that new little addition to the family, but many of those elements can by used for other celebratory occasions!
I know that you will be quite excited about all of these new additions to the Papertrey lineup.  So......get ready for lots more inspiration comin' your way!!

All of the new stamp sets and products will be available to purchase on January 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

My first project is a shaker card, made by running the Frame It Out: What's Inside frame die through a few times (Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet, Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise) to create all of that lovely confetti, which is encased in an oval frame.

To create a little extra interest, the background of this 5" square card is embossed in a lattice type pattern, using the middle die from Shape Shifters: Square 4. A thin layer of Berry Sorbet was added, along with a greeting combo from Frame It Out: What's Inside and Sentiment Staples: Warmest Wishes and a bit of coral/white twine.

My second card for today is a floral-y confection, with lots of layers in Vintage Cream Linen,  using the Bold Borders: Dots, and the new Nesting Basics: Ovals and Nesting Basics: Pierced Ovals.

The floral background was stamped with images from Let's Fiesta, in shades of Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet and Simply Chartreuse. Such a pretty color combination!

The lovely hand drawn sentiment from Jennifer Cambell's Worth the Wait, stamped in Berry Sorbet, is the focus of this card front! And that petite bow is the perfect accent.

Well, that's it's for me for today, but so very glad that you stopped by! There's SO much more to see from the Papertrey crew..... so be sure to hop on over to the Papertrey Ink Blog for more inspiration using these fabulous new January products.  Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!

I'm declaring these two cards as my release favorites! Your clever use of Shape Shifters: Square 4 is truly an eye-catcher along with the oval shaker element. Then using those beautiful and delicate flowers from Let's Fiesta in Pantone's Color of the Year with lots of monotone back-up, well, just makes my little heart sing. Thanks for inspiring as always, Michelle!

Hi Michelle! Your creativity is amazing and inspiring! I add my love to your use of the shape shifter insert. It gives your beautiful shaker card a quilted feel. Along with your shaker pieces, brilliant idea! And your baby card is a beauty! I am loving the fresh ideas for baby cards this release. Super post, thx Michelle! 😊
