I am joining in for the very first time at Paper Players #255 (phew, in just under the wire)! I guess that a lovely sketch is what prompts a bit of creativity .... AND quite of few of my favorite card makin' peeps were playing along too!
Really mixing it up here with some new-to me RC and LI dies and a pretty blue/green/gray color combo. Lots of great inspiration in the Paper Players #255 gallery, so be sure to take a peek!
You will surely be inspired by Chrissy's design for CAS(E) this Sketch #134 and the beautiful projects from the CTS Design Team!
This one's bold and bright, with lots of contrast. I've used my SSS circle dies,a PS 'thanks" die and a few dots of Enamel Accents (which dries nice and shiny- and dimensional). Nope...nothing subtle about this card.
We can't wait to see what you've created for CTS #134!
P.S.- A warm welcome to our fabulous GT, Ros Crawford.
So many, MANY times I've been inspired to play along with the Muse Challenge peeps - such a GREAT design team with an amazing abundance of creative talent! And, finally, I've gotten my act together .... thus, a quick addition to the line up for the Muse Challenge #125! Many thanks to Anita for
a lovely design and a bee-u-ti-ful color combination!
Well.... I had to play along with Papertrey Ink's MIM #228: Watercolors with Die Cut Stencils because A) rainbow colors are involved and B) rainbows and watercolors are involved. Need I say more? Nope. So, here's a teeny, tiny, color-full tag!
Feast your eyes on those beautiful butterflies! I've created a bit of a soft, subtle, tea-stained look for Papertrey Ink's July 2015 Blog Hop. And although not quite my usual style, things are kept fairly clean and simple...just how I like it! A bit of patterned paper, a snippet of cream colored vellum and a few dies here and there- et voila!
Take a peak at the gallery-there's lovely inspiration to be discovered!
Happy Thursday and welcome to CTS #133! Gayatri has designed a lovely sketch- sure to inspire great creative minds!! The bokeh-look bubbles made me think of ghost/shadow stamping... thus, my birthday balloons on kraft cs using a white pigment ink base with dye inks on top. Certainly not perfect (I coulda/woulda/shoulda used my Misti!), but I kind of love the look!
We hope that you'll join in and create something beautiful for CAS(E) this Sketch #133!
Please welcome our fabulous GD, Broni Holcombe!
So sorry that I'm a bit late to the CAS(E) this Sketch #132 party! We enjoyed a little stay-cation and I am just getting back into 'creative mode'! N@Ali has designed a beautiful sketch and the DT has some really lovely, and varied, projects to share that are sure to inspire! I took the more organic route in using kraft card stock, a bit of contrasting color, and the pretty Frantic Stamper Scribble Flower/Scribble Flower base dies. Join us at CTS #132 and create something amazing!!
P.S.- A warm welcome this week's Guest Designer, Jean Manis!
LOVING my new Frantic Stamper Cute Kitten and Cat Icon dies and thought that I'd incorporate them into this week's CAS(E) this Sketch! Chrissy is our CTS #131 designer and she has created an amazing sketch! The DT has been inspired and you'll see everything from floral to graphic. I may have taken a few liberties with this one, but I saw speech bubbles in the sketch's oval shapes.
Happy creating! I'm SO looking forward to seeing what you've come up with for CAS(E) this Sketch #131!
P.S. - A BIG welcome to our GD, Margarita!
Yay.... it's almost July 4th and we are enjoying a nice, long weekend! Hopefully, you are too (perhaps your R&R also involves this lovely sketch from Leigh?)!!
Lots of white and bright on this one! Mixing it up with SSS stamps, Paper Smooches swirly dies, and a PTI sentiment.
Please join in the fun at CAS(E) this Sketch #120!
P.S.- A warm welcome our oh-so-talented Guest Designer, Marika!
