I'm not sure how the Papertrey designers keep on comin' up with more fantastic techniques, but here's a great one from Lizzie! Using vellum to soften patterns has so many applications, and Lizzie has created three bee-u-ti-ful example cards for MIM #210! Since Mother's Day is just around the corner, I decided to use the Text Block: Mom die, more of Brushed Blooms and some dotted vellum. I'm sure that I'll be giving this lovely technique another go (and so should you)!

Wow, you pieced the background together beautifully! I love the bold red softened with the dotted vellum.
Great card design! reminds me of Betsy's design tips a couple weeks ago of using one ink color with a stamp set to make your background, a lovely effect. The dotted vellum is perfect.
Lovely....
Beautiful - I LOVE the color. Great job!
Very pretty!
I agree. The DT always has something fun and new to try. Wow your card is gorgeous! Nice job Michelle!

This is gorgeous! Love that you used the dotted vellum. It adds nice texture!
Red/white = LOVE! So lovely, and well stamped! Love the dotty vellum too.
What a sweet Mother's Day card...so beautiful.
I would never have thought of using dotted vellum (maybe 'cause I'm hoarding mine?), but I love the effect of it on that gorgeous red stamping!

Gorgeous card, Michelle! Love the red and white all over with the dotted vellum. Perfect Mother's Day card.
