Fusion Card Challenge - 'Autumn'

Thanks for joining us for the newest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Autumn'. The amazing inspiration photo is a wonderful starting point. But that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try?

The beautiful sketch (and all of the lovely fall colors from the photo) was my starting point. The delicate foliage, from Ink to Paper's Lovely Leaves, are embossed/colored on vellum and the  simple 'thank you' die is the finishing touch for this CAS card.

The DT has provided some a-mazing inspiration, so be sure to hop on over and join the party! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together.

Welcome to The 12 Kits of Occasions - the August 2019 edition. And.... YAY, I am your hostess for this 'End of Summer Soiree' kit!
Although the summer season is surely winding down, there are always many events to celebrate! I am hoping that this array of images and sentiments, both large and small, and the pretty red and blue hues (with a few subtle gold accents) will inspire a bit of creativity in my oh-so-talented teammates. Papertrey Ink 'Throwback Thursday' AND Case this Sketch #337!!

Happy day! Welcome to my two-fer Thursday...... with a birthday card that fits not only the sketch from CTS #337, but also highlights the lovely Sunflower Harvest stamps/dies for Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday!
The beautiful Sunflower Harvest florals are the perfect reminder of late summer, when many sunflower fields are in full bloom ...... with fall-inspired hues of Classic Kraft, Orange Zest and Simply Chartreuse, almost larger than life florals and a delicate 'birthday wishes' sentiment.

Happy Thursday! Time for another sketch .... and it's a fabulous one for CTS #336 from Brian King. There's lots of beautiful inspiration from the DT too, so be sure to take a peek and then play along!
Lots of pretty patterns and texture go a long way on this CAS 'hugs' card..... with an Aqua Mist/Harvest Gold color combo, a pretty layered butterfly and the perfect little TSM die cut sentiment.

The beautiful photo, with all of those lovely blooms and the pretty shiplap/aqua background, is what really caught my eye! The Stamp Market's Summer Stems helps to create the perfect floral wall..... with a bit of patterned paper in weathered aqua tones and the script-y thank you die as the finishing touch!

Ink to Paper - Transformation Tuesday

ink to paper - TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY

Welcome to Papertrey Ink's Transformation Tuesday! I love this opportunity to revisit a past project, which in this case is a card from the very first Ink to Paper release of May 2019. While my original card used dies exclusively (with the exception of the Just Sentiments: Tags 'hello beautiful' stamp/sentiment) this new card incorporates cooler, more fall-like, hues and a plethora of stamped and die cut florals and greenery to create the free form wreath. The petite banner from Banner Builder: Basics and the crisp, clean 'thanks you' sentiment are the finishing touches.

And..... the new version, with it's Prairie Grass/Pinefeather/Blueberry Sky/Enchanted Evening color combo (and a little bit of sparkle!):

I can't believe that it's time to start thinking about creating for the fall season! Here are a few new stamps/dies from the Ink to Paper August 15th release.....a not-so-scary little embossed ghost (Ghosts & Ghoulies) with lots of lovely white space, wonderfully warm hues and a fabulous sentiment (To Die For Sentiments: Halloween). Totally CAS.
