CAS(E) this Sketch #265

Yay! It's Thursday.... so, welcome to CAS(E) this Sketch #265 (and my third post of the day!). It's time for another clever one, courtesy of the talented N@Ali. This incredibly versatile sketch has lots of possibilities and many beautiful interpretations by the DT -  so please take a peek, and then join in!!
A few bright colors and the perfect Concord & 9th sentiments help to create this incredibly CAS congratulatory greeting. I did resist the urge to add flowers/sequins/ribbon/twine, as I determined that a few more unisex/masculine cards were in order. Berry Sorbet isn't too girly is it??
We hope that you will be inspired by the sketch, the gallery and/or the DT creations and will play along with us at CAS(E) this Sketch #265!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Easter Bunny'

Welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Easter Bunny'. The amazing inspiration photo is a wonderful starting point. But that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try??
Both the lovely photo and the fabulous sketch  have helped to create this card. Although there's no bunny in sight, I was inspired by the lovely pinks and greens, my favorite polka dots and trio of petite blooms (and sentiment) from Pinkfresh Studio.
And...the DT has provided some amazing inspiration! SO, be sure to HOP on over and join the party.
When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together!

We hope that you'll join in at the Fusion Card Challenge and will enjoy all of the loveliness from the DT and the always amazing gallery!

PROCEDURES:

1. Play with just the sketch challenge.
2. Play with just the inspiration photo challenge.
3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.
4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.

Papertrey Ink Throwback Thursday - 'All Booked Up'

 'all booked up'

Welcome to this week's Throwback Thursday with Papertrey Ink! Today, Ashley, Betsy and I are here to show you some fabulous new takes on the previously released set, 'All Booked Up', which inspires you to create not only beautiful bookplates, gift tags, bookmarks, etc., but also endearing cards.

I combined this 're-visited' set with one of the new die/stamp sets that just released this March, Stitch In Time Borders. Lots of dots (of course!), some pops of color courtesy of the Kuretake Gansai Tambi waterclors and a bit of dimension (Versamark watermark/white embossing powder) help to create this friendship card.

Oh.... I forgot about that little bookmark! Remember when the giant paperclip crafting fad was sweeping the nation? Remember? Yup, I still had a stash of those tucked away. So, I made a matching accessory for my friend card.

Many thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to take a peek at the Papertrey Ink Blog for more inspiration using the 'All Booked Up' set!

I've kind of followed the sketch.... with lots of bright colors, a bit of stamped patterning, a pair of cute apples and the beautiful multi-colored pen helping to create this little 'hello' card!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Rain or Shine'

Welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Rain or Shine'. The amazing inspiration photo is a wonderful starting point. But that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try??
Both the lovely photo and the fabulous sketch  have helped to create this card. Inspired by the lovely pinks and yellows, I've stamped a pretty background patten of umbrellas, added a pair of sweet little PinkFresh birds and mixed and matched Papertrey Ink's Bitty Bigs to my heart's content!
And...the DT has provided some amazing inspiration! SO, be sure to HOP on over and join the party.
When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together!
