Papertrey Ink September Release - Day Two!

Winter fox + Text & texture: Wood slices
+ Sending comfort
+ Hinged gift card box: christmas window

Welcome to Papertrey Ink's September 2018 Release - Day 2! There are MANY more amazing new Papertrey goodies to sneak peek..... including Heather Nichols' adorable Winter Fox, Betsy Veldman's latest addition to the Text & Texture series, the rustic Text & Texture: Wood Slices, Kimberly Crawford's fabulous new Sending Comfort and Lizzie Jones' new addition to spice up your gift giving -  the new Hinged Gift Card Box: Christmas Window.
I know that you will be SO excited about all of these new additions to the Papertrey lineup and will be ready to start your holiday projects!

All of the new stamp sets and products will be available to purchase on September 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

Today, it is my privilege to highlight the new Text & Texture: Wood Slices and Winter Fox! I began my first project by stamping the Wood Slices background in Weathervane ink, using just one of the layers from the Text & Texture: Wood Slices background stamp set, which I then die cut using  a Noted: Simply Stitched A2 Vertical die, layered with Ocean Tides and mounted on a Weathervane card base.

Next, I stamped and die cut the trees and the fox from Winter Fox in subtle shades of Weathervane,  Soft Stone, Ocean Tides, Pinefeather and Enchanted Evening. The fox's cute little nose (and eyes) are highlighted using Nuvo Gloss in Ebony Black. This little winter scene is set using the new Pierced Feature Frames: Oval die, a few snowy layers and a petite sentiment banner from Winter Fox.

My second project includes a pair of peeking fox (foxes??), sending love and merry wishes! The Pure Poppy/Ocean Tides color combination allows the cute little critters to pop.

The Text & Texture: Wood Slices stamps a nicely framed background, which I trimmed down and layered in Pure Poppy. Then a few windows were cut, stamped with the little star-like images from Winter Fox and the addition of two fox in crisp black and white.

The layered card front was then popped up with dimensional tape and mounted on a Stamper's Select White card base. There's a sneak peek of another new September product in the pretty, Pure Poppy die cut 'Be Merry' sentiment!

My last project has lots goin' on........using a Dark Indigo/Terracotta Tile/White color combination. The Text & Texture: Wood Slices tag is stamped in Dark Indigo, with the log design providing the perfect placement for the petite Winter Fox 'peace on earth' and 'joy' sentiments.

The pieced card front, in Bitty Big: Dark Indigo stripes and polka dot embossed Terracotta Tile is die cut using the Noted: Pinked A2 Vertical die and provides the perfect backdrop for the layered tag.

This foxy tag gets a little dressing up with the addition of Terracotta Tile saddle-stitched ribbon, a snippet of navy twine (dyed with my Dark Indigo ink pad) and a few leaf-y bits from the Songbirds die.

So very glad that you stopped by today! There's SO much more to see from the Papertrey crew..... so be sure to hop on over to the Papertrey Ink Blog for more inspiration using these fabulous new September products.  Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!

I don't know which I like better, the fox or the wood. Great combo though. I love the red card the best

I love how I can pick your cards out right away! The stripes are so striking on the red and blue card. My fave is the gray and Ocean Tides card, you are so creative! Fabulous samples!

Love the Weathervane and Ocean Tides combo---another one I'd probably never think to use! The last card may have "a lot going on," but it's all very effective. It's also another great color combo.
