Fusion Card Challenge - 'Valentine Cupcake'

 

Welcome to the latest Fusion Card Challenge, 'Valentine Cupcake'! The fabulous photo and sketch are both pretty delicious - and I may just have a craving for a bit of something/anything chocolate! Which will you choose - the sketch, the photo or both as your inspiration?

My project, taking cues from both the photo and the sketch, focuses on those gorgeous cupcakes. The pretty patterned PTI papers help to create this mini slimline card.... along with more that a few die cuts,  an older SSS cupcake, a little dimension and a good dose of white space!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Coffee Chalkboard'

 

Welcome to the latest Fusion Card Challenge, 'Coffee Chalkboard'! The fabulous photo and sketch are both pretty lovely - and I'm craving a yummy coffee/croissant! SO.....which will you choose - the sketch, the photo or both as your inspiration?

My project, taking cues from both the photo and the sketch, focuses on the lovely chalkboard background and the coffee theme. The pretty patterned papers (from a few older October Afternoon 8x8 pads.... yes, my name is Michelle and I'm a paper hoarder!) help to create this 3.25"x6.5" card, with a custom created envelope. GAH, how would I live without my WeRMemory Keepers Envelope Punch Board? A few hints of soft pink (hearts and bitty scallop) are the finishing touch to this CAS creation.

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Gray White Christmas'

Welcome to the latest Fusion Card Challenge, 'Gray White Christmas', our very last of 2021 (so LOTS of time to play along!!). The fabulous photo and sketch are both pretty lovely...... evoking a soft, natural holiday mood! Which will you choose - the sketch, the photo or both as your inspiration?

My project, taking cues from both the photo and the sketch, focuses on the lovely gray/green color combo, the patterning of the rug and the petite wreaths. The white frame sets off the 'Joy' die cut/crisp sentiment and the tiny pearls are the finishing touch to this CAS creation.

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Typewritten Thanks'

Welcome to the latest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Typewritten Thanks'! Don't you wish you had a pretty pink typewriter just like this one?? The fabulous photo and sketch are both pretty lovely. Which will you choose....the sketch, the photo or both as your inspiration?

My project, taking cues from both the photo and the sketch, focuses on the aforementioned typewriter AND the a-mazing details of the Sugar Pea Designs 'You're My Type' stamp/die. SO cute!! A little bit of stamping, a few die cuts, a smattering of soft pink polka dots and the coordinating envelope finish off this CAS, mini slimline 'thank you' card.

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Pumpkin Mugs'

 

Welcome to the latest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Pumpkin Mugs'!! This beautiful photo and fabulous sketch are both pretty lovely. SO.... which will you choose,  the sketch, the photo or both as your inspiration?

My project, taking cues from both the photo and the sketch, focuses on the beautifully hued pumpkins. I ink blended a soft Latte background, stamped a few bits of greenery, stacked my trio of pumpkins and added a crisp, tiny sentiment. A coordinating Kraft envelope finishes off this CAS fall card!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Peach Birthday'

It's time for another Fusion Card Challenge - 'Peach Birthday'!! This beautifully hued photo and fabulous sketch are both pretty lovely. SO.... which will you choose,  the sketch, the photo or both as your inspiration?

My project, taking cues from both the photo and the sketch, focuses on the lovely ombre rainbow. I poked through my scrap bin for little bits of pinky/peachy color and created my framed rainbow..... adding sprinkles of sparkle (to imitate the balloons), a simple (non-birthday) sentiment, a bit of texture on the mini slimline card base and a pretty paper strip to mimic the box pattern wallpaper behind the balloons. I fashioned a matching slimline envelope to complete the petite ensemble!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Nautical Bear'

It's waaaay past time for the 'Nautical Bear" Fusion Card Challenge (since it's time for a new one, starting tomorrow)!! However, I'm posting a few cards, which were finally photographed. I'm so very sorry for the delay!

My projects, taking inspiration from both the photo and the sketch, focus on the red/white/blue color combo and the nautical theme (oops... no little bear here!). I've mimicked the ombre frosting, using an array of blues, added lots of pops of red, a crisp sentiment and a bit of texture (swirly clouds peeking out) and dimension. And, YAY, a few little boy birthday cards to add to the stash!!
