Pinkfresh WCMD Challenge: #7 Rainbow

Well, I've been doing some big time 'thinking' about all of the beautiful Pinkfresh WCMC challenges, but maybe not so much of the 'doing' ......... and finally got down to it and created a few. Phew!!

My fourth card is all about color and the Pinkfresh WCMD Challenge #7 - 'Rainbow'. An abundance of ROYGBIV hues, lots of white space, my favorite polka dotted background, a simple sentiment, a few jewels and a snippet of black twine help to create this CAS card.

 Well, I've been doing some big time 'thinking' about all of the beautiful Pinkfresh WCMC challenges, but maybe not so much of the 'doing' ......... and finally got down to it and created a few. Phew!!

My third card combines Challenges #4 and #12 (Monochromatic + Floral).... with an abundance of floral die cuts, crisp gray backdrop, pretty sentiment and a few enamel dots as the finishing touch on this CAS card.

Pinkfresh WCMD Challenges: #3 Stripes + #11 Shaker

Well, I've been doing some big time 'thinking' about all of the beautiful Pinkfresh WCMC challenges, but maybe not so much of the 'doing' ......... and finally got down to it and created a few. Phew!!

This second card combines Challenges #3 and #11 (Stripes + Shaker elements).... plus,  a good floral thrown in for good measure!! Lots of lovely blues and greens, a few textured frames and lots of sparkle-y goodness complete this birthday card! Both Natasha (stripes) and Channin (shakers) have provided some really amazing inspiration!!

Pinkfresh WCMD Challenge #1: Diecutting

Well, I've been doing some big time 'thinking' about all of the beautiful Pinkfresh WCMC challenges, but maybe not so much of the 'doing' ......... and finally got down to it and created a few. Phew!!

Challenge #1 from Pinkfresh is using "dies".  That's an easy one because I have a few really beautiful Pinkfresh dies that haven't received nearly enough love. A plethora of pretty little florals, the detailed wreath,  textured frame and simple sentiment all come together quite nicely, don't you think?? Many thanks to Hussena for the amazing inspiration!

CAS(E) this Sketch #393

Welcome to CTS #393 AND another of our throw-back/'Retro' Sketches.....  the original is from July 2015! It's a lovely, graphic design by Chrissy Larson and you'll surely find lots of inspiration from both the 2015 and 2020 versions, so please play along!

I started with a pretty striped/stamped background and then added the delicate Pinkfresh die (thank you, Karen, for this lovely gift!)...inlaying a bit of bright green and pretty periwinkle, adding a simple sentiment and a few sparkle-y sequins as the finishing touches. Nicely crisp, clean and simple while still adhering pretty closely to the sketch!!

CAS(E) this Sketch #392

Here's a bit of sketch-y inspiration for CTS #392.... with an array of pretty florals and a beautiful banner. Be sure to take a peek at what the DT has dreamed up and then join in!

Yes, I've definitely gotten carried away with this one.... and was trying to keep it CAS. But, this SU set (Beautiful Bouquet stamps, Bouquet Bunch dies) has so many pretty little images/die cuts that I could not help but to 'overdo' just a bit. And, I didn't stop there, nope - more busy-ness from the embossed backgrounds. GAH!! However, there is a pretty palette of periwinkle/yellow/green to save the day. Please take the cue from my teammates, who have created some beauties (and have, clearly, received the memo re: CAS)!

The Fusion Card Challenge - 'Old McDonald'

Happy Thursday and welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge, 'Old McDonald'. The barnyard animals are just the cutest.....but that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you choose as your inspiration?

I've used both the photo AND the great sketch (a few liberties may have been taken!). The cute little cow, pig and rooster are from an older Studio Calico set, which is complimented by some pretty patterned papers, a few bright clouds, pierced frame and crisp sentiment (also from the same SC stamp set).

The DT has provided some wonderful inspiration, so be sure to hop on over and join the party! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together.
