THROWBACK THURSDAY - enclosed: cupcake
Oh happy day....... it's time for Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday feature! This week Dawn, Lizzie and I will be sharing projects showcasing the amazing Enclosed: Cupcake stamps and dies.
If you're anything like me, you feel that there can never be enough celebrating........ especially when it come to birthdays! The sweet Enclosed: Cupcake stamp set, and coordinating die, will take you celebratory creations to the next level. Add your embellishment(s) - candles, sprinkles, flowers, sparkle-y bits, etc. for a bit of dimension and the 'cherry on top'!

The 'star' of the show is the amazing Enclosed: Cupcake die, which not only conveys a celebratory greeting, but is also a lovely focal point for your card front. I've done a bit of ink blending, in Raspberry Fizz and Berry Sorbet, for this more feminine birthday card and have used the same two colors, and the new Pierced Feature Frames dies, as the backdrop for my sparkle-y cupcake.
The crinoline flower was created using the Flowers Fusion #1 die. A tiny brad holds all of the pretty layers together ...... just fluff it up a bit for that added bit of dimension!
New Leaf is the perfect accent color...... and I've used it on the single candle and the tiny leaves behind the crinoline flower.
Many thanks for stopping in today..... hope that you've enjoyed this Throwback Thursday post! Please be sure to take a peek at the Papertrey Ink Blog and the beautifully created Enclosed: Cupcake confections from Dawn and Lizzie. Have a wonderful day and I will see you again soon!
