The 12 Kits of Occasions-January 2017!

Welcome! SO happy to have you join us at The 12 Kits of Occasions... the very first post of 2017! Lindsey is our most fabulous hostess for this month and she has fashioned a beautiful collection - full of happy colors, lovely dies and the perfect sentiments and embellishments!
There's LOTS of news to share too. Our dear friend, Joyce, has decided to step down and we will miss her terribly! However, we have a new friend joining us as part of the 12 Kits DT, Birgit Norton!
AND.... there's more! We have TWO amazing guest designers this month - Kathy McCloskey AND Leigh Penner!

Ok. If you've made it this far there's also a bit more good news to announce...
Giveaway!!!
The fabulous Jeanne will be our hostess in March, and she will be giving away two of her "Out of This World" kits  If you'd like a chance to win, please leave a comment on the 12 Kits of Occasions blog by 11:59 pm EST on February 12.
You will find the January kit supply list of products we've used on the 2017 Supply Page.
I've got lots of beautiful bits still left from Lindsey's kit, so stay tuned for part 2! Thanks for taking a peek!

Oh my Michelle, these are all so totally gorgeous! The fussy cutting you did on the first card is so well worth the time and effort, as those flowers are truly stunning as the focal point on this card! I so love your CAS style and each one of these cards is a work of art! Thanks so much for allowing me to be part of your amazing group. <3

Awe, Michelle, fussy cutting that gorgeous floral paper was genius! All four cards are gorgeous, and I look forward to Part 2. Now I'm eager to use my leftover supplies, too. It was a blast participating with you gals this month...such an inspiring group of stampers.

Michelle, each and every one of these is just perfect. I'll be pulling out every last scrap of paper I have to CASE them. You totally blew me away with your adore you card and how you trimmed the flowers out of the paper.

Hi Michelle! Beautiful clean designs. I love the way you contrast between the empty clean areas and the bright bold colors on the images. You have a wonderful eye for composition! It was brilliant to cut the pattern paper and make your very own floral arrangement too!

Michelle, first of all, I need a lesson on how to photograph cards from you. The photos are so clear, bright, and beautiful! Next, I just love your first card. Those flowers in the paper were so cute, I love how you chose to focus on them by cutting them out, what a fabulous idea! Next I think its great that we both choose the same grey striped paper to showcase the "hugs" cut out. Then the pineapple one is just too cute :) I'm partial to pineapples (to eat and because I went to hospitality college!).

All such beautiful CAS designs Michelle. Love the very first card and how you cut the flowers out of the paper. I think I have enough left to CASE some of your cars!
