Papertrey Ink September 2015 Blog Hop

It's the 25th, and time for Papertrey's September 2015 Blog Hop, where this month's challenge is this lovely photo! Kinda gets me in the mood for Fall - so fluff up the pillows, break out the cozy afghans and snuggle up with a cup of tea! 

I may have gotten a bit die happy with this card (Embellished Elegance) and after putting it all together I could not muster up the courage to make it look truly chalkboard-y/distressed. Love this PTI thank you, with all of the swirls and fonts built into one stamp!

Anyway... I'm off to admire all of the gallery's loveliness. Happy weekend!

Welcome to CAS(E) this Sketch #142. And, just take a peek at all of the fabulous-ness that the DT has created! 
Leigh has fashioned a lovely design, which I've interpreted in a soft and subtle way. Loving the SSS gray card stock (Fog/Smoke) and the Fancy Scroll die from Frantic Stamper. Oh... and a few tiny pearls too.

Papertrey Ink MIM # 224: Two-Toned Stamped Sentiments

I'm just loving the technique that Danielle has demonstrated for Papertrey Ink's MIM #224 (and the beautiful cards that she's created using the two-toned sentiments)! WOW...some truly inspirational projects in the gallery too. If only I had one of those fabulous cover plates I'd be makin' about a million of these lovelies! I used some bold/bright colors, and my new Frantic Stamper Stitched Rectangles die (which creates those perfectly rounded corners!).

Happy Thursday and welcome to CAS(E) this Sketch #141. N@Ali has created a fantastic sketch for us to try - clean and simple with tons of potential! Just take a peek at what the phenomenal DT has created!
I must admit that I have not made a card in over a week, which a some kinda record for me. Guess that other events have taken precedence, which has ushered my mojo out the door. BUT,  not to worry - I've neatened up my crafting space, which will allow me to see what I have (yay! a few new goodies). Now.... if I could only find that brand new, spendy bone folder!!

CASE) this Sketch #139

Happy Thursday and welcome to CAS(E) this Sketch #139! I'm gearing up for a nice long, warm and sunny weekend. BUT first, an amazing sketch from Leigh!
I so wanted to channel my inner Laura Bassen (who makes ink blending look SO easy!) and started with a masked shape, some pretty yellow TH ink and a few Altenew flowers. However, somehow this simple, one layer card got a tiny bit messy, which necessitated the addition of a few layers, and then the dies and embossing folders joined the fray. Anyway...... 
We hope that you'll find a bit of creative time and will join us at CTS#139!

12 Kits of Occasions - August 2015

I am SO very excited to be playing along with the lovely and oh-so-talented ladies at the 12 Kits of Occasions challenge! I've been invited by August's hostess-with-the most-est Michele Ferguson (my CAS(E) this Sketch teamie/online crafting bff!) to create along with the fabulous DT.
August's theme is A Spoon Full of Sugar.... with get well themed sentiments (a few penned by Michele herself!), beautiful Heidi Swapp papers, and a plethora of stamped images. As always, the kit contains many, many beautiful elements - all designed to create cards/projects conveying your heartfelt get well wishes.
