Papertrey Ink- October 2012 Blog Hop

Papertrey Ink has six really lovely non-traditional holiday color combos on display and I had a very difficult time choosing just one! If time allows, I will most assuredly try my hand at a few more. Of course I picked the brightest shades!

Oh my...... it has been a very long time since I've done some creating! And it seems that I've forgotten how to organize my overabundant crafty ideas AND how to take and edit a photo! So, y'all will have to bear with me as I return from my creative hiatus!

ColourQ #152

It's been pretty crazy around here.... getting two off to college.
Thus, the blog, which has never been overly busy, has suffered a bit. However, I'm ready to jump back in with my ColourQ #152 contribution. This card is certainly more-than-inspired by the lovely designs over a Kloset Kreations (thank you Deanna!)
And, yay, it's more masculine looking b'day creation- something that I usually have just a few of. Sorry boys!

Yay! Another ColourQ challenge that my color-loving self truly appreciates! But..... couldn't stop at just one, so I'm showin' you all of 'em - each ever so slightly different. And, hmmm, not quite sure if any one has that "perfect" combination.

I'm giving a few challenges a try - colourQ #149 and RetroSketches #23!
Still not sure what works best in getting my creativity flowing ...... color combinations or sketches? Guess that it's just that particular day's energy. Sometimes it takes minutes to create, other times hours.
I much prefer the former.

The Color Throwdown-#202

Here is a new one for me - Color Throw Down #202! 

Thought I'd give it a try (in between Olympic events!). There is a polka dot background that is quite difficult to appreciate (note to self re:photo editing.... practice, practice, practice). I also really need to find a consistent place/time to take my photos so there is some continuity. Sigh.

In My Next Life.......

In my next life I'd like to come back with the creative mind of Stephanie (oh, and with a British accent too!). I love her blog, Stamping & Sharing, and most everything that she does. She seems to put together each project with such ease- elegant, clean, inspiring. Sorry to be CASing so directly, but I just loved this card! Yup, I'm just a little obsessed.....
