Playing with the Fusion Challenge Team!

HappyThursday!  I am so pleased to announce that I will be joining the Fusion Card Challenge crew!! This is an amazing team, from all over the globe (US, Canada, Germany, NZ, AU), and I am so, so excited to be playing along with these talented women!
Oh.... and just take a peek at the amazing inspiration for this week's challenge! If you are playing along you can use either the sketch OR the photo as your jumping off point. AND if you are feeling super duper clever you can fuse 'em together!

As you can see, I've chosen to create from the lovely sketch and have used some vibrant greens and a few more subtle grays/aquas as accents. Although, I could've easily used that delicious looking cake in the photo as inspiration - because I've been more than a little obsessed with the cake stamps lately (Concord and 9th, Reverse Confetti, Jane's Doodles, etc.) and have a few new acquistiions. So....there may be an additional creation (or two) coming you way soon!
Anyway.....we hope that you'll join in the fun at the Fusion Card Challenge and will enjoy all of the loveliness from the DT!

The 12 Kits of Occasions - August 2016

Oh Happy Day - it's time for The 12 Kits of Occasions/August 2016 edition! Our most generous, and lovely, hostess-with-the-mostest, Lisa Elton, has put together the prettiest "Sweet Pea" kit! It's full of beautiful pink, green and creamy white patterned and solid papers (with a touch of gold thrown in for good measure!), perfect die cut sentiments and adorable stamped images - some designed by Lisa herself ("Sweet Pea" stamp set) for Precious Remembrance Shop!

Hey all! Loving this CTS #187 sketch from Chrissy - and enjoying what the DT has created too!
Playing with some of the smaller elements from the Lil' Inkers Hello Beautiful stamp set (which has the cutest little bird and some really great sentiments too) and some pretty blue and green inks.

Happy Thursday and welcome to CTS #186! Here's a pretty sketch from N@Ali....and lots of lovelies from the DT to inspire your project!!
I have some cute little Right at Home carrots subbing in for the triangular shapes. Add the perfect sentiment (double stamped with my Misti!), a layer of greenery, a bit of rustic twine and call it a day!

Here ya' go - another lovely sketch from Leigh! And....seeing what each DT member brings to the table amazes me every single time - such beautiful crisp and clean designs that are so CASE-able! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? 
These happy summer papers were staring me down, so had to use the bright pinks and yellows. Oh, and some pretty PTI flowers too!

CAS(E) this Sketch #184

Oh,  just take a peek at Sam's darling little sketch for CTS #184! The DT has lots of lovelies to share and inspire, so.... time to create!
A plethora of possibilities were dancing in my head, but using this happy little sunflower from Frantic Stamper was a no-brainer.  I added some of my favorite polka dots for dimension and the perfect little sentiment from SSS.

Concord and 9th Craziness!

Well..... I may have gotten just a wee bit carried away in playing with my Concord and 9th Wildflower stamps! I was inspired by this card by Lucy Abrams (which resulted in a plethora of color combinations) and a request from my darling mother for some 'get well' themed cards. Many thanks for taking a peek (and for indulging in my obsession of the day)!
