CAS-ual Fridays CFC #28

Here is  my first entry for Cas-ual Friday's challenge: Tag You're It!
I've been working like a crazy woman making lots of tags, but these are leftovers from last year. I'll be breaking' out the new ones soon!

Mitten Frenzy #2

Oops...  just one more "mitten" card, in a completely different color scheme! I think that this might qualify for the CAS-ual Friday Challenge #37 as there's a tiny element that is "over the edge"

So you see, this is how it usually goes....... first card, alter, second card, change up stamps a bit, third card, get out the stickles, fourth card, let's try inking up that embossing folder, etc. Well, you get the idea! I have some new stamps from Wplus9, a bargain Martha Stewart set (from Marshall's!), a few well loved PTI snowflakes and a winter Sizzix embossing folder that all needed to be put to use (although, perhaps, not all at the same time!). Hmmm.... how did this all begin? Oh yeah, I wanted to participate in the Make It Monday #39: Multi Stamp Background Building!

Yes, it is that time of the month again.... time for the PTI October Blog Hop! 

Creating from a photo inspiration is always a challenge for me, but I love the beautiful fabrics and the cute, soft little pumpkins. Can you believe that I do not have one pumpkin image in my entire stampin' arsenal? So, just using my textures, papers and other stamps to finesse a bit of Fall flavor.

I'm off to sew my oldest son's adult-sized kangaroo costume...... wish me luck! Happy Halloween!

 

                                       
              

PTI Make It Monday #37: Layered Mats and Frames

I love to create for the PTI Make It Monday challenges! Here's a birthday card with a lovely turquoise, aqua and yellow combo. All of the dies, stamps and ribbon are PTI, in addition to some miscellaneous patterned paper from my stash. It's a bit difficult to see the layering in this photo..... but it's there!

CAS-ual Fridays CFC#22- Feeling Loopy

Ever the procrastinator........ here is my contribution to CAS-ual Fridays Feeling Loopy challenge!

The little flowers are made from a 7/8 inch wide grosgrain ribbon using the method that I've seen demonstrated on many crafty blogs.....sometimes called a "fringed flower" and usually made with felt, (which is most certainly a bit more sturdy and doesn't fray like ribbon does/might).
