A Few Shades of Grey

I'm avoiding anything involving cleaning, sorting, packing, cooking, etc. (you get the idea!). AND....waiting so impatiently for my Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit to arrive. Kristina Werner made one amazing/colorful card here using some of the papers and other items from the kit and I wanted to duplicate the look. However, since I have only grey straws available, I thought I'd go with the grey/yellow combo.  This card doesn't look too girly, does it? I think that I might need that cute and swirly "Happy" die (love Kristina's handwriting!).

OK, OK........ just one more and then I'll stop for today! I had to sneak down to the craft cave. This card is inspired by Cristina's first project. The Fresh Cut Florals have about a million beautiful combinations. So loverly!

Yup,  just a tad obsessed with my new Wplus9 florals (which arrived in two days)!!
Although I should be packing, sorting, and tossing in preparation for our upcoming move I just could not resist......

Muse Challenge #19

The Muse Challenge #19 inspiration is by the talented Michelle Williams! I love all of the clean, open white space and the dainty florals. AND..... an added bonus is the fact that it is a one layer  beauty! I so seldom make anything with just one layer........waaay too many opportunities to mess up! Anway, here is my attempt, minus the black sentiment and with a more obvious/literal border. Oh how I love playing with those Mini Blooms!
