Happy Thursday and welcome to the newest Fusion Challenge- 'Sand,Beach'. The beautiful coastal-inspired photo is a lovely starting point. But.... that sketch is pretty great too! So which will  you try??   
The lovely photo has inspired this card, with a bit of texture from the SSS woodgrain cs, lots of bright colors and a bit of twine. And... the perfect 'HAPPY' sentiment(s) for any celebration!
The DT has some amazing inspiration! So...... be sure to HOP on over and join the party.

Modern + Marbled: Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of Papertrey Ink's introduction of Kimberly Crawford's Modern + Marbled Kit - a beautiful blend of soft colors, lovely dies and the perfect sentiments/fonts! Oh.... and the golden shimmer and shine is the icing on top for this marbled and classic look!

I've gilded the beautiful 'thank you' die and the Sweet Blush panel with the amazing Nuvo Gilding Flakes - which are so much fun to play with! And.....there may be a layer of gold on most everything on my crafting desk. Is that a bad thing?? Nope. I think not.

The single stamped image included in the kit, which creates the marbled look, was inked in Sweet Blush ink and randomly stamped to create this 4.5" square card and the matching, custom created envelope.  And the gold embossed fern image from the Courage & Kindness stamp set may just be the perfect compliment to the gold wax seals included in the Modern + Marbled Kit!

More Papertrey Ink Release - Cutaway Tags: Summer, Garden Party, Petal Box Die

Good morning, and welcome back to another day of inspiration (Day #4!), featuring the June Papertrey Ink release! Today I'll be sharing projects using three new June sets: Cutaway Tags: Summer, Garden Party and the Petal Box Die.

Lots of light and bright, using the new Cutaway Tags: Summer circular frame die, the new-to-me Chicken Scratch Gingham patterned papers and a few miscellaneous enamel dots. Ah..... just love the soft ginghams!

Next up is Garden Party from Dawn McVey. Such pretty florals, in any and all color combinations! Be sure to take a peek at what Betsy, Keeway, Laurie, Lizzie and Wanda have created with this set...... just a-mazing!!

And last, but certainly not least, is the fabulous Petal Box die. So, so quick and easy to die cut and put together. And any additional stamping/decorating is just icing on the cake. Not to mention the trio of lovely coordinating tag dies - oval, rounded square, and banner shapes!

More Papertrey Ink June Release - Herb Garden Mini Kit

Happy Sunday and welcome to Day Three of the Papertrey Ink post-release inspiration celebration! I've had the pleasure of playing a bit with Betsy's fabulous Herb Garden Mini Kit - another phenomenal combination of amazing stamps, papers, dies and stencils.  SO many possibilities, variations, etc. (don't I say that about every kit?). Betsy is a creative genius, I tell 'ya!

This card is clean and simple all the way.... using only Rustic Cream and Kraft cs, and soft greens and browns. The little herb bouquet is the perfect added touch!

I have big future plans for this kit in helping me to prepare a gift-y herb basket, so lots up my sleeve!
