deco notes
+ seasons of Joy
+ splendid snowflakes
Welcome to the second day of introductions for Ink to Paper's September 2019 Release! There are so many amazing new stamps and dies in this month’s collections. Today, it's all about celebrating the holiday season with the new Seasons of Joy and Splendid Snowflakes AND a few other beautifully deco-rated occasions!
All of the new products will be available September 15th at 10 pm ET!
My first card highlights the lovely Deco Notes in shades of Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado and Spring Moss. The largest image is so perfect (and beautifully detailed!) in that it covers the entire height of an A2 card front. Here I've positioned the stamps so that they create a perfect landing spot for the circular 'JOY tag, which is stamped/embossed with a second smaller scrolled image (stamped 4 times to create the circular shape) and a third mini-scroll stamp (just under the tag).
I've incorporated a circular tag from Tag Creations: Blooming Indulgence, a few other circle die cuts and Papertrey Ink's lovely Holiday Double Cuts to create the focal point. A few snippets of Ripe Avocado grosgrain and gold twine are the finishing touches.
My second project also incorporates the largest Deco Notes image, but this time with the stamps back to back, creating a natural, circular area in the center. This is also the perfect spot for the fabulous larger/bolder sentiments that are part of the Deco Notes set (Congratulations, Cheers, Thank You, Happy Birthday, Warmest Wishes, Merry & Bright). However, I've gone with another circular centerpiece, using a delicate sentiment from the previously released Just Sentiments: Birthday.
On this Classic Kraft base the images/sentiment are all embossed in white, filled in with Zig watercolor brush pens and highlighted with Nuvo silver glitter drops. CAS all the way, with just a few embellishments!
Project number three highlights the lovely Splendid Snowflakes and the beautiful sentiments from Seasons of Joy! Both of these new sets have so much to offer with an abundance of stamp/die options and an amazing array of snowflakes, wreaths and sentiments. Oh..... I've just scratched the surface with this fantastic combination!
In shades of Spring Rain and Soft Stone (and some glitter-y elements!), this joyful card has lots of texture/dimension as all of the embossed ('White Diamond') and die cut snowflakes and sentiments have that added layer of dimensional tape. The layered Spring Rain/Soft Stone 'JOY' is sparkled up with diamond glitter. A simple sentiment banner, in Weathervane, is the finishing element.
Many thanks for joining me today! Please be sure to take a peek at the Ink to Paper Blog for an abundance of loveliness and Day Two DT inspiration (and a chance to win a $75 Ink to Paper eGift card)!
Simply swooning over here! Jo x
