Welcome to The 12 Kits of Occasions - the August 2019 edition. And.... YAY, I am your hostess for this 'End of Summer Soiree' kit!
Although the summer season is surely winding down, there are always many events to celebrate! I am hoping that this array of images and sentiments, both large and small, and the pretty red and blue hues (with a few subtle gold accents) will inspire a bit of creativity in my oh-so-talented teammates. Papertrey Ink 'Throwback Thursday' AND Case this Sketch #337!!

Happy day! Welcome to my two-fer Thursday...... with a birthday card that fits not only the sketch from CTS #337, but also highlights the lovely Sunflower Harvest stamps/dies for Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday!
The beautiful Sunflower Harvest florals are the perfect reminder of late summer, when many sunflower fields are in full bloom ...... with fall-inspired hues of Classic Kraft, Orange Zest and Simply Chartreuse, almost larger than life florals and a delicate 'birthday wishes' sentiment.

Happy Thursday! Time for another sketch .... and it's a fabulous one for CTS #336 from Brian King. There's lots of beautiful inspiration from the DT too, so be sure to take a peek and then play along!
Lots of pretty patterns and texture go a long way on this CAS 'hugs' card..... with an Aqua Mist/Harvest Gold color combo, a pretty layered butterfly and the perfect little TSM die cut sentiment.

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Floral Wall'

Thanks for joining us for the newest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Floral Wall'. The amazing inspiration photo is a wonderful starting point. But that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try?

The beautiful photo, with all of those lovely blooms and the pretty shiplap/aqua background, is what really caught my eye! The Stamp Market's Summer Stems helps to create the perfect floral wall..... with a bit of patterned paper in weathered aqua tones and the script-y thank you die as the finishing touch!

The DT has provided some a-mazing inspiration, so be sure to hop on over and join the party! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together.

Ink to Paper - Transformation Tuesday

ink to paper - TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY

Welcome to Papertrey Ink's Transformation Tuesday! I love this opportunity to revisit a past project, which in this case is a card from the very first Ink to Paper release of May 2019. While my original card used dies exclusively (with the exception of the Just Sentiments: Tags 'hello beautiful' stamp/sentiment) this new card incorporates cooler, more fall-like, hues and a plethora of stamped and die cut florals and greenery to create the free form wreath. The petite banner from Banner Builder: Basics and the crisp, clean 'thanks you' sentiment are the finishing touches.

And..... the new version, with it's Prairie Grass/Pinefeather/Blueberry Sky/Enchanted Evening color combo (and a little bit of sparkle!):

I can't believe that it's time to start thinking about creating for the fall season! Here are a few new stamps/dies from the Ink to Paper August 15th release.....a not-so-scary little embossed ghost (Ghosts & Ghoulies) with lots of lovely white space, wonderfully warm hues and a fabulous sentiment (To Die For Sentiments: Halloween). Totally CAS.

Ink to Paper August 2019 Release - Day 3

Welcome to the third day of introductions for Ink to Paper's August 2019 Release! Today it is about sharing love and kindness, with sweet little birds/branches and lovely coordinating sentiments, courtesy of Birdie and Sweet Tweets. PLUS, another great stamp/die collection, It's a Sign: Love & Kindness.

ALL of the new Ink to Paper products will be available August 15th at 10 pm ET!

This first card highlights the beautiful branch stamp/die from Birdie, in addition to one of the birdcage designs and just one of the four floral elements included in this new set. I can imagine using this for so many occasions...... new home, new baby, happy bird-day, welcome to the neighborhood, etc.! I've incorporated a monochromatic color scheme of Autumn Rose and Scarlet Jewel, with Cocoa Bean accents. The Shape Shifter: Circle 2 helps to create a focal point and the little Swirling Clouds dies are the perfect accent.

My second card is a classic black/white combination, with accents of Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst and Raspberry Fizz. Lot of white space is complimented by the pretty scalloped panel and the Bitty Big: True Black striped pattern. On again, I've used the petite florals from Birdie........ AND a sentiment from the new Sweet Treats (stamped x3).

Project #3 incorporates the beautiful blooms and greenery from the new It's A Sign: Love & Kindness, PLUS that fabulously large sentiment! I've stamped the dotted surround from Framing Florals, inked up the It's a Sign sentiment and placed this in front of my tall bouquet (using a few dies from Tag Creations: Joyful Jars). Lots of autumnal colors here - Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, Simply Chartreuse and Pinefeather. A subtle wide embossed stripe is the perfect background for this 3.5" x 6" card.

Welcome to the second day of introductions for Ink to Paper's August 2019 Release! There are so many amazing new stamps and dies in this month’s collections. Today, it's all about the fall season, gratitude and blessings, big and small.

All of the new products will be available August 15th at 10 pm ET!

I'm loving the new Thankful Thoughts stamps/dies for their lovely script-y fonts and the larger sized sentiments that are sure to be the focal point of your card front. And........ the beautifully detailed On the Border: Fall for Foliage dies are the perfect accompaniment. This Soft Stone/Dark Indigo plaid and polka dot combination is a classic and just right for fall.

Project #2 includes a trio of 4.75" cards using the new To Die For Sentiments: Sweet Blessings in combination with Tag Creations: Blooming Indulgence and another new introduction,  Inside Greetings: Gratitude. I love, love this new set as it allows for a quick and easy 'thank you'!

This little set includes coordinating envelopes (made with the WeR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board) in Bitty Big Lilac Grace, Harvest Gold and Sweet Blush mini plaids AND a petite tag using the same floral dies (and sentiments from the previously release Just Sentiments: To & From).
