CAS(E) this Sketch #121
Welcome to CTS#121! Sam has fashioned a lovely sketch for us to try.... and just wait until you see the varied creations from the DT! I am playing with PTI's Make It Market Mini:Wee Folk - a kit full of coordinating dies, stamps and linen-y papers. SO, so cute! Hardly any stampin' going on here-just pretty pp, die cuts and a few embellishments!
We hope that you will join in the fun and create a little something for CAS(E) this Sketch #121!
And Still More.......!
Yes, I am still a bit obsessed with the PTI Brushed Blooms and this navy/coral-y color combination! I promise to stop. Well, for today anyway.........

Papertrey Ink MIM #210: Using Vellum to Soften Patterns
I'm not sure how the Papertrey designers keep on comin' up with more fantastic techniques, but here's a great one from Lizzie! Using vellum to soften patterns has so many applications, and Lizzie has created three bee-u-ti-ful example cards for MIM #210! Since Mother's Day is just around the corner, I decided to use the Text Block: Mom die, more of Brushed Blooms and some dotted vellum. I'm sure that I'll be giving this lovely technique another go (and so should you)!

Papertrey MIM #209: White on White Die Cuts with a Pop of Color
I couldn't wait to play along with PTI's Make It Monday #209! There's so much fun to be had with Lexi's white-on-white technique! LOVE that it looks great with almost every die, and I especially love all of that beautiful white space. Then... you add that bit of color, and BAM! A great technique for any, and every, occasion!

CAS(E) this Sketch #120
Welcome to CTS #120! Gayatri has created a beautiful, collage-y sketch, which we hope will inspire you!
I've inked up Papertrey Ink's new 'Flower Favorites' and an older stamp (from Unity Stamps 'Moments in Bloom') for the subtle background. This is a one layer card (YAY!) which I rarely attempt because...... CAS is much easier said than done! Which is one reason why I so admire those creative geniuses who are able to convey a crisp, clean design using a minimalist approach.
Please join in and create your masterpiece for CAS(E) this Sketch #120!

CAS(E) this Sketch #119
Good morning... it's a beautiful, sunny Thursday and time for CTS #119! Leigh has designed an amazing sketch to inspire you (and the DT!).
I've created a little card set in some pretty spring-y colors - a bit of texture (love PTI's linen cs) and, of course, more flowers! Yes, I have taken some liberties here. Looks a bit tree-like doesn't it?
We hope that you'll find time to create something lovely and join in at CAS(E) this Sketch #119!
I used my Lifestyle Crafts leafy die (from the "Wildflower" set, circa 2011)
http://www.amazon.com/Wildflower-Spring-Gift-Lifestyle-Crafts/dp/images/B006T2ZEWM
and the little flowers are from the Paper Smooches "Flower" die set.

CAS(E) this Sketch #118!
Happy Thursday and welcome to CTS #118! Chrissy has designed a lover-ly inspiration piece that is oh so versatile. Hmm.... I saw globes, maps, beach balls, hot air balloons, and bird cages, but finally settled on something quite basic (circles) and used mainly cs and dies. As an afterthought I added some enamel dots for balance. I always forget about using those great little embellishments- sequins, tiny stamps/dies, etc.!
Please join in the fun and create something great for CAS(E) this Sketch #118!
LOVE my new Mama Elephant 'Birthday Script' die!

CAS(E) this Sketch #117- Take Two!
One more for CAS(E) this Sketch #117!
And...I'm back in my floral comfort zone.
Love this new-to-me diagonal stripe embossing folder and the spring-y yellows.

Papertrey Ink MIM #207: Double Partial Die Cutting!
The lovely (and crazy talented!) Laura is presenting PTI's MIM #207. This technique provides beautiful results and Laura makes it look so easy. I've tried this partial die cutting before, with less (waaay less) than acceptable results. However, I was bound and determined to figure this out, and even managed some success on my first try. Not perfect, but acceptable!
Still obsessed with the Brushed Blooms, as you can see!

CAS(E) this Sketch #117!
Here's a pretty little sketch from Lesley. SO many possibilities with this one! I decided to step away from the flowers (but just for the moment!) and created something a bit bold and graphic.
Take a look at what the clever DT has come up with - all so varied in style and color! We hope that you will be inspired to join in at CAS(E) this Sketch #117!
Wishing you a very Happy Easter (and a basket full 'o chocolate!)!
