CAS(E) this Sketch #391

Happy Thursday..... and welcome to CTS #391! It's a beauty from Donna Mikasa, just loaded with design inspiration and creative possibilities. Be sure to take a peek at what the DT has dreamed up and then join in!!

It was about time that I broke out the kraft-y/neutral card stock, for a change of pace! The two rectangular windows are backed with a pretty/lace-y die and a trio of blooms/a few delicate leafy accents added. A crisp sentiment is the only stamping on this CAS card.  And.... there's still room for a short and sweet message inside!

CAS(E) this Sketch #390

 

Oh...... such a beautiful sketch for this week's CTS #390!! Just wait 'til you see the amazing designs from the DT, each one more lovely than the next (I see quite a bit of CASE-ing in my future!). We hope that you'll be super inspired too and will be playing along!!

I'd stamped and die cut the pretty floral branches and birds from The Greenery (thank you, Karen, for allowing me to play with these lovelies!!) and had them tucked away ....... just waiting, perhaps, for CTS #390! A Sweet Blush card base was my jumping off point,  with delicate foliage/florals, an adorable little wren, a snippet of vellum, white embossed sentiment and a few sparkle-y pink jewels as the finishing touch.

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Cake'

 

Welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge, 'Cake'. But....isn't this just the most delicious looking ombre/cactus cake?? That sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try?

I was inspired by both....the beautiful confection in the photo AND the great sketch. An array of pinks, accents of green and a trio of Lawn Fawn cacti complete this CAS card.

CAS(E) this Sketch #389

Welcome to CAS(E) this Sketch #389 AND another of our throw-back/'Retro' Sketches.....  the original is from January 2019! It's a timeless design by the Brian King and you'll surely find lots of inspiration from the 2019 and 2020 versions, so please play along!

I intended to create a much cleaner design, but I had some pretty blooms that were begging to be crafted into a card, along with the Frantic Stamper die and, well, things just got out of control! I couldn't decide whether to use the positive or the negative of the 'greetings' die, and ended up with three layers (can you see that I started with white?). Clearly, I was flyin' by the seat of my creative pants and was having a difficult time making up my mind about anything/everything!!

Anyway.....there are so many beautifully designed projects from the DT, so be sure to take a peek and then JOIN in at CAS(E) this Sketch #389 (the InLinkz will close at 9 am EST on Thursday, 9/17). I can't wait to see your creation(s)!!

I love, love this pretty bouquet, created with The Stamp Market's 'Oh So Lovely' stamps and dies. Lots of vibrant reds, corals and oranges, a textured panel and a pretty popped up banner/sentiment complete this happy-hued card!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Yellow Door'

 

Welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge, 'Yellow Door'. But....isn't this just the most  welcoming, 'come on in' photo?? That sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try?

I was inspired by the beautiful yellow door in the photo AND the great sketch. I had a few 'house parts' in my stamp collection, but none were quite right for this challenge. And.... then I remembered an older set, 'Houses' from STAMPlorations. The various houses are stamped/masked/layered in dark gray ink, with each door front copic-colored in yellow. The pretty sentiment is stamped on a petite stitched oval and popped up for a bit of dimension, adding the finishing touch to this CAS card.
