Good morning and welcome to CTS #65! Sam Simpson has designed this lovely sketch… SO many directions to go with this one! AND choosing just one was a challenge.  My first thought was to go with flowers (my usual inclination!), but then I decided use some new stamps (a very generous freebie from Sweet Stamp Shop), and a few others from Avery Elle and Wplus9. I really mixed it up here, even though this card in so incredibly CAS!

I had quite exhausted all of my Valentine's Day stamps, so decided to move on to a springtime card. Bunnies, carrots, and lots of white always make me happy! Spring cannot be too far away… I hope!

Papertrey Ink- The Timer Challenge

I have frequently(thanks honey!) been accused of being quite unaware of time …. so Papertrey Ink's Timer Challenge was a true test! Seven minutes to choose items and 17 minutes to execute. However, there was a shiny new stamp set staring me in the face, and a few dies already cut. Quick….the clock is ticking!

Wplus9 Birthday Celebration Week One- Comfort Zone

I'm sending birthday hugs and wishes to Wplus9! As part of their celebration, Wplus9's Week One Challenge is to create something in your "comfort zone". As it turns out, my favorites are florals, lots of white space, pretty pastels and perhaps a bit of sparkle or twine/ribbon! Therefore, Fresh Cut Florals, More Fresh Florals, and Valentine Wishes are some of my "go to" stamps! Always so pretty!

CAS(E) this Sketch #63

We hope that you'll join us at CTS #63 as Joni Andaya has created a beautiful floral sketch. And, oh, how I love my flowers! I bought a snippet of what my LSS referred to as "crinoline" fabric, not knowing exactly what I'd do with it - I just liked the texture. As it turns out, the fabric makes a really lovely flower! There's hardly any stamping goin' on here…. only the little green leaf. All the rest is from my SSS monthly kit, with a few miscellaneous bits thrown in.

My first Sweet Stamp Shop stamps are in the current rotation……. thanks to Chrissy Larson's inspiration/enabling! Very, very simple designs!

Just for Fun!

Lately, time spent crafting has been reduced (maybe that's a good thing…. according to my DH!). However, in the past few days I've had time to create - just for fun. Oh, such a great sensation! I'm finally able to enjoy playing with my new stamps from Sweet Stamps and Wplus9.
