Muse Challenge #10

Yay... Muse Challenge #10! I love Ardyth Percy-Robb's crisp, clean (and often, incredibly innovative!) style, so I did not want to miss this creative exercise! While this card did not quite turn out as well as I'd envisioned, I still love the happy, spring-like colors! 

Papertrey March Blog Hop - Sequins!

  The March PTI Blog Hop challenge is to use sequins! Sequins? Hmm.... So, I went searching through my supplies and found some really bee-u-ti-ful flowers, in all shapes and sizes....... Hero Arts, I think,  from more than a few years ago. I probably have enough of these to make many, many cards. This, of course, did not stop me from seeking out additional sequin loveliness ( Ellen Hutson, multi-pack from Michaels, etc.)! I'm hoping to create many more projects after taking a peek at all of the amazing inspiration on the PTI Blog Hop!

MUSE Challenge #9

Another Muse Challenge... a lovely card by Marion Vagg! This one was truly a "challenge" for me as I have deduced, in looking back at my previous posts, that although i love teals/blues I rarely use those colors in my card marking. Guess that I am more comfortable with lots of white/cream with the addition of bright pastels. AND, this is a real departure for me to use a dark card base (which is also a bit different to photograph!).

March AEI♥U Challenge

Just having a little fun with my newest Avery Elle stamps! Love the fresh florals (one can never have too many!). Thought that I would also play with my Tim Holtz inks, something I do not do enough of. Love the gradient/ombre look and thought that I would contribute to the Avery Elle March challenge. The inspiration photo make me look forward to time at the cottage, or an ocean beach. Either would do at this point. Can you believe that it was 17 degrees this morning and it is currently snowing? We need a little spring-time.... soon!

Muse Challenge #8

Oh, how I'm loving the Muse challenges! Monday's Muse is Therese Calvird and she has provided a beautiful card.. I love the soft yellow and cream with the pop of floral color!
Although I've wanted to participate each and every time, I only gotten my act together twice! Hopefully, I will be posting again as I would really like to try using the yellow damask. So pretty!

I get to play along with the DT, and you, in finding inspiration in the beautiful photo.... such a lovely watercolor background and a luscious spring-y bouquet!

Muse Challenge #7

 Just a little Laurie Willison love over at the Muse Challenge! What's not to love?? A beautiful, clean, crisp bit of card loveliness! I used one of my Lifestyle Crafts dies to mimic the doily/flower stamp, the new PTI Mini Blooms for the sentiment, some little Wplus9 florals....... and, well, pretty much case'd the entire rest of the card, since I was so enamored! Take a peek at the Muse gallery - you're bound to find some wonderful inspiration!

Procrastination Station!

Over at the Muse challenge there are some bee-u-ti-ful cards....... all inspired by one of my favorite stampers, Deanna Jean. I so wanted to contribute this week, but, as usual, I  am a wee bit on the tardy side! Just in case, I made two cards (having SO much fun with my Papertrey Mini Blooms set!).
