Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday!

                             THROWBACK THURSDAY -
                             Embellished Elegance

It's time for the latest 'Throwback Thursday' feature over on the Papertrey Ink Blog, where we are highlighting the amazing Embellished Elegance. Whether you choose a simple, one layer design, or a something a bit more complex, Embellished Elegance is lovely in every way!

A classic beauty, Embellished Elegance epitomizes all that we've come to expect from Papertrey Ink's florals - with a pretty mix of foliage and an array of beautiful posies (not to mention a mix of lovely sentiments).

I've chosen to form the vine elements into a circular frame, with a few strategically placed flowers and sequins and a simple sentiment, all surrounding the lattice-like center. The Weathervane inked leaves and tendrils contrast with the simple white base and the petite flowers provide a bit of vibrant color in shades of Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet and Pure Poppy. A simple banner-ed sentiment is the finishing touch. Oh...... and just a few clear sequins!

Be sure to take a peek at the projects from the original March 2014 introduction of Embellished Elegance, where you'll see some beautiful creations from Nichole and DT members of the past. I guarantee that you will be inspired all over again!

  2. LOVE this card! And I really enjoyed looking back at the original post - thank you for providing that link. I REALLY, REALLY miss the idea gallery! It's not easy finding inspiration on the PTI site for the older PTI sets that I have. Any suggestions? I get so many ideas when I look at the beautiful cards from the DT, but I don't know how to do that anymore.

  3. What a creative way to use the shape shifter, like a lattice window! How charming! Thanks for the inspiration!
