Oh.... such pretty florals in the new Together Forever Blooms! These lovely floral/leafy images all have a two-step/layering component, although I've chosen to use just the outline stamps, which have been embossed in white. A bit of messy watercoloring and a few splatters of white paint were added to the Classic Kraft card front.
A thin layer of Terracotta Tile peeks out from behind the main image and the petite tag (the smallest from the Paper & Package Essential Tag Die collection) with a perfect sentiment as the finishing touch.
My second card, with florals from the new Circle of Love and Vintage Type stamped 'LOVE', is bold and bright...... in shades of Weathervane, Raspberry Fizz and Simply Chartreuse.
The card base is created with the scalloped notecard die from my much loved Don't Forget to Write die collection and embossed with the new Shape Shifters: Square 4 die. 'LOVE' (from Traveler's Journal: Passport Cover Dies) is stamped in Weathervane ink, utilizing just a portion the new Vintage Type stamp. The delicate 'you' die, from the new Bold Borders: Arabesque, completes my sentiment.
The pretty florals shown are just a snippet of all the beauty that is Circle of Love! Many of the images are intended as a two-step process, but also look amazing on their own. Oh..... and some great new sentiments/dies go along with Circle of Love too! I've created a little 4" square envelope in Bitty Big: Raspberry Fizz to accompany my petite notecard.
Well, that's is for me today! Many thanks for stopping by and helping to celebrate more of the January countdown! Be sure to check in on Betsy, Dawn, Kelly, Laurie, Lizzie, Melissa P, and Melissa B and Stephanie over at the Papertrey Ink BLOG to see their fabulous creations using these great new January Papertrey products.
Have a wonderful day!!
This is a fav post for me today! I seriously LOVE how you used both floral sets. Not all of us have an easy time with floral placement and your first card takes the stress out of that. I love your easy & open style, keeping it loose and the added details of splattering. A.nd your 2nd card, towns! A real BEAUTY! The Michelle!! :)
