Papertrey Ink December Release - Day One!

Words to Live By: happiness
+ Text & Texture: bokeh
+ Penned elegance II + delicate  dies

Good morning and welcome to Papertrey Ink's December release- Day 1! Oh.... SO  MUCH more goodness to share with you, AND just wait until you see what the rest of the amazing Papertrey Ink team has created!
Today we have the pleasure of introducing two new designs from Betsy Veldman..... the latest Words to Live By: Happiness and the beautiful two step background of Text & Texture: Bokeh. Next up is Jennifer Campbell's pretty Penned Elegance II - more lovely, hand lettered sentiments/dies to add to your arsenal of greetings. And, lastly, Dawn McVey has created the most detailed and fabulous Delicate Dies!

All of the new stamp sets and products will be available to purchase on December 15th at 10PM ET, on the Papertrey Ink website.

The first of the new Text & Texture: Bokeh projects is done in a Soft Stone/Winter Wisteria combination, with hints of silver and sparkle.  The beautiful Bokeh background creates instant interest, whether you stamp a single layer or utilize the two-step stamping, as I have here. I've used just one color, Winter Wisteria, but this first layer is stamped multiple time (ah.... the beauty of the Misti!) making a much darker impression, with just a single impression of the top layer.

I've added bit of silver embossing, using some of the smaller stamps/elements included in the Text & Texture: Bokeh set, a few clear sequins and a snippet of silver twine as accents.

My next project starts with a hand watercolored plaid background and ends with just one of the amazingly detailed Delicates die and a beautiful sentiments from Penned Elegance II.

I've given the Delicate die a bit of dimension, as well as that beautiful sentiment..... all placed on a simple Summer Sunrise/Fresh Snow Linen card base.  A few iridescent jewels reflect the array of background colors and add the perfect finishing touch.

The two Delicate Dies look beautiful alone, or layered, and can be used as more of a 'floral-y' look or as a lovely, wintery snowflake.... oh, the possibilities!!

Thank you so much for joining me today! Be sure to check out today's introductory post over on the Papertrey Ink blog and then check in on Betsy, Dawn, Laurie, Lizzie, Melissa Phillips, Melissa Bickford and Kimberly to see how they've used these great new December products. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you tomorrow!
