Hello and welcome Day FIVE of Papertrey Ink’s November release! We hope that you are enjoying all of the sneak peeks and projects that have been shown and are feeling truly inspired to create ..... and then share what you love!
Today we have more new stamps and dies to share with you, including Lizzie Jones' lovely Expressions of Empathy and the latest addition to the Corner Adorner series. In addition, Betsy Veldman has designed the new Words to Live By: Caring stamps and coordinating die. AND.......the latest and greatest Bold Borders die - POLKA DOTS, y'all!!
All of the new release items will be available through Papertrey Ink tomorrow, November 15th, at 10 pm ET.
I have the pleasure of highlighting the lovely Words to Live By: Caring AND the fabulous new Bold Borders: Polka Dots die! Some of you may be aware of my proclivity for all things polka dotted, so needless to say, I was jumping up and down to see this newest addition to the Bold Borders line!!
My first project begins with a Sweet Blush 4.25 x 5.5 inch panel, which is ink blended with Sweet Blush, Pale Peony and Hibiscus Burst and then die cut with the new Bold Borders: Polka Dots cover plate die. I saved the center portion of the die cut, which is framed in white with a Pierced Feature Frame die, and stamped my sentiment from Words to Live by: Caring in Weathervane ink.
I stacked a few of the 'caring" dies and and added a bit of ombre shading to this as well. A trio of tiny Weathervane hearts, from the You Have My Heart die set, were the finishing touches to this CAS card.
Project number two includes a Dark Indigo/ Pale Peony color palette. Totally clean and simple, with a Pale Peony card base, a die cut Bold Borders: Polka Dots in Dark Indigo and a few layers (Pierced Detail frame and the newest Nesting Basics: Rectangles/Nesting Frames: Pierced Rectangles).
The sentiment is another combination from the lovely Words to Live By: Caring and is accented by florals from the new Floral Fantasy: Christmas (see?? they are not just holiday stamps!) in Pale Peony and Dark Indigo.
My final project for today is created using soft Vintage Cream Linen card stock, a gold embossed tree from Floral Fantasy: Christmas, sentiment from the new Sentiment Staples: Warmest Wishes and a few subtle green accents.
The center cut out of the Bold Borders: Polka Dots frame is covered by a panel that was die cut using the Nesting Frames: Pierced Rectangles die (which I cut down a bit to fit). A slim layer of Simply Chartreuse is just barely visible, helping to highlight the tiny green sequins accenting the pretty floral tree.
The pretty gold embossed sentiment, from the new Sentiment Staples: Warmest Wishes, was fussy cut. And..... for a bit of height, both the floral tree and 'Warmest Wishes' were attached to the card front using dimensional tape.
Well, that's is for me today! Many thanks for stopping by and helping to celebrate more of the November countdown! Be sure to check in on Betsy, Dawn, Heather, Kelly, Laurie, Lizzie, Melissa P, Melissa B and Stephanie over at the Papertrey Ink BLOG to see their fabulous creations using these great new November Papertrey products.
Have a wonderful day!!
