Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday - 'Autumn Abundance'

It's time for Throwback Thursday over on the Papertrey Ink Blog, where we are highlighting the beautiful Autumn Abundance stamp set and coordinating dies.  Autumn Abundance includes three beautiful floral arrangements (sunflowers, mums and autumn leaves) and complimentary sentiments, which are perfect for all of your Fall-themed projects.

I have chosen to create with the sunflowers from Autumn Abundance..... some of my late summer  floral favorites! This clean and simple 5" square card started with a 4" center panel, which was embossed with the Linen & Canvas Impression Plate. The pretty pitcher of sunflowers was stamped, embossed with black embossing powder, loosely watercolored and die cut.

The beautiful patterns from Bitty Big: Harvest Gold provide a nice contrast to the Smokey Shadow layers and the perfectly simple sentiment, also from Autumn Abundance. I created a coordinating 5" envelope (using my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch) in Weathervane, lined in a Bitty Big: Harvest Gold plaid.

Please take a peek at the Papertrey Ink Blog, and at Heather and Dawn's amazing creations,  for more lovely Fall-themed inspiration!

  1. One beautifully elegant card! Your pattern combinations always showcase the star piece, in this case a lovely watercolor. The linen embossing is icing on the cake! Love it!
