 orchid expressions stamp/die collection +
Words to live by : inspire +
Botanical bounty sentiments +
scallop stackers: Medium and Large +
Bitty big: berry sorbet

Hello and welcome Day FIVE of Papertrey Ink’s July release! We hope that you are enjoying all of the sneak peeks and projects that have been shown and are feeling truly inspired to create..... and then share what you love!
Today we have more new stamps and dies to share with you, including Betsy Veldman's amazing Orchid Expressions stamp/die collection AND the lovely Words to Live By: Inspire collection. Jennifer Campbell brings us a fabulous new sentiment set, Botanical Bounty Sentiments, which compliments her previously released Botanical Bounty I and II stamp sets. In addition, Dawn McVey has designed two new dies - Scallop Stacker: Medium and Scallop Stacker: Large, a beautifully detailed duo with so many design possibilities!
All of the new release items will be available through Papertrey Ink tomorrow, JULY 15th, at 10 pm ET.

The beautiful Orchid Expressions florals were adapted from original watercolor artwork, thus giving these multi-step florals a hand-painted feel. The assembled orchid, including the pot, measures 2" wide and 4 3/4" tall, and is able to take center stage on your card front. However, for this first card, I've used the separate shorter stem as a pretty cluster..... tied with linen thread and highlighted with a few soft pink sequins.

The pretty Sweet Blush/Spring Moss combination and a beautiful sentiment from Words to Live By: Inspire evokes a soft and subtle feel, with a delicate background created by the new Bold Borders: Prism die.

My second project highlights the new Botanical Bounty Sentiments, the Scallop Stackers die (LARGE) and the newest Bitty Big color - Berry Sorbet. The beautiful Scallop Stackers dies can be cut apart, much like the Shape Shifter and Mix & Mat dies, so that they can be used together OR independently, to create different looks. For this project I've used the inner die from the larger Scallop Stacker die to create a scallop cut out that allows you to see what's behind.... in this case the pretty Berry Sorbet polka dots.

The beautiful brush lettering of Botanical Bounty Sentiments is the perfect compliment to the pretty blooms from Corner Adorner: February and sentiment from Keep It Simple: Wedding.

Lots of bright Berry Sorbet, in combination with New Leaf and a few lovely yellow accents (AND the new Pierced Feature Frame die) creates the perfect card for one of our Summer 2018 weddings!

Here are a few photos of the new Scallop Stackers. Hopefully, this will provide a better visual and will demonstrate the versatility of these new dies!

  3. Thank you for sharing a visual on the scallop dies; it's quite helpful. And the card you made with that die is delightful. Pairing red with white is a classic, yet looks so fresh in your design.

  8. "Pretty in pink" comes to mind the minute I see the first card. The red and white is so fresh on the second one, and now I'm taking another look at those sentiments. This one is so gorgeous on your card.
