The 12 Kits of Occasions - February 2018

Welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions! Lindsey is our fabulous hostess for February 2018 and has provided a bright and beautiful kit, 'Faith & Family', with an array of floral themed stamps, patterned papers and die cuts, inspired, in part, by the hues of one of her daughter's dresses.  Aaah.... a harbinger of spring perhaps? All of the fabulous kit supplies can be found here.
The abundance of lovely blossoms makes my heart happy! Lots of pretty blooms in different combinations (with a few cacti for good measure) help to create these cards..... conveying kind thoughts and wishes.
Surely the lovely projects from the talented 12 Kits team will inspire a bit of ooh-ing, aaah-ing and CASE-ing. Please be sure to hop around to see ALL of the crafty inspiration!
Many thanks for joining us today!

  3. Oh, I just knew you create magical cards with all these blooms!! Nobody does flowers better than you. I adore that you used the letters from the Friend Like You die...that took a lot of time and patience I’m sure. Your white and grey card took my breath away, the chevrons immediately drew a smile, and every single one made me SO incredibly happy that I have these supplies to CASE you!

  6. Well, I surely know it's the last day of February, but nonetheless, I was surprised to see this post---but pleased as well. Your cards are bright, bold, and cheerful. If the weather report is accurate, we'll need their harbinger of spring!

  7. I just love your attention to detail. You have an incredible instinct to stop at the right point, never 'over adding', or under for that matter. Each card is perfection, as always. Love to study your technique. Can't wait to use the lovely lacy die (haven't used that one yet) as you have. It showcased that sentiment beautifully! Hugs!

  10. Beautiful cards, Michelle! The bright blue flower really shines on your first card. It looks fabulous against the soft grays and aqua. And using the negatives of the chevron die cut was a fun idea. You always combine patterns and colors so perfectly. Loved seeing what you created with Lindsey's wonderful kit!

  12. I love your cards and I always love your use of color--great job. Is the quote by Elder Uchtdorf a stamp or just a print out? Thanks in advance for the info.
