Here is another floral beauty from Therese Calvird! The Muse challenges are my creative obsession of late....... and I am so excited to check the Muse site every week for the new inspiration! Therese's card is lovely in it's clean simplicity and amazing color! The flower appears to have such dimension, although I'm pretty sure that this is just amazing coloring skills at work. So... in lieu of aforementioned marker/pencil skills, I decided to add dimension by using lilac colored crepe paper and a MFT rolled flower die. I also popped the top layer up with dimensional tape for a little extra somethin'.
I love how you took basically the same components as the Muse but got a less dreamy more 'in your face' (in a good way) vibe! Thanks for playing along!
ReplyDeleteLove your design with the negative space and that flower is simply fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteStunning! Love the 'crepe' flower and the die cut windows for the leaves. I recently 'saved' some crepe paper wrapping from a present and you have inspired me to get it out and play.
