Ink to Paper August 2019 Release - Day 1

Welcome to the first day of introductions for Ink to Paper's August 2019 Release! There are so many amazing new stamps and dies in this month’s collections.......with a little bit of fall, a little bit of Halloween and a little bit of something in between!

All of the new products will be available August 15th at 10 pm ET!

Lovely Leaves is just that - eight beautiful leaf images (plus detailed outline) are included in this set.... (and coordinating dies too! I've embossed three of the leaves on vellum, die cut and arranged over my ink blended rectangle. A crisp sentiment from the new Just Sentiments: Grateful Heart, which is die cut with just one of the eight banners from Diagonal Banners, is the finishing touch.

My second project highlights the a-mazing Tag Creations: Delightful Bunch. WOW.... when this  little basket full of deliciousness is fully constructed it is so cute!! Such incredible detail, which all comes together so beautifully. The coordinating stamps give you all of that woodgrain detail for your basket and handle, an array of sentiments and those lovely leaves/apples!

The Bitty Big: True Black plaid, along with the Pure Poppy/Classic Kraft/Simply Chartreuse color combo, provides the rustic feel of Fall. And.... a snippet of b/w gingham is the finishing touch!

CAS(E) this Sketch #334

Happy, sunny Thursday! Time for another sketch .... and it's a beautiful one for CTS #334 from Chrissy Larson. There's lots of beautiful inspiration from the DT too, so be sure to take a peek and then play along!
Clearly I've gone bold and graphic with this one. A large and in charge HBD die from The Stamp Market takes center stage, with a few blossoms from Bloominous as the floral elements. I felt like this still needed a little somethin' somethin', so added a little sentiment strip in the lower right corner (see photo #2). Too much??
Anyway....... we hope that you'll join us at CTS #334 and will be adding your masterpiece to the gallery (the InLinkz will close at 9 am EST on Thursday, August 15th)!

OR......perhaps, an additional petite sentiment??

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Family'

Thanks for joining us for the newest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Family'. The amazing inspiration photo is a wonderful starting point. But that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try?

The sketch is what I was going for, since I had no stamps that fit the bill (how is that possible??). Lots of white space, along with some soft grays and aquas, helped to create this clean and simple 'hello'!  

The DT has provided some a-mazing inspiration, so be sure to hop on over and join the party! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together.

Welcome to CAS(E) this Sketch #333 AND another of our throw-back/'Retro' Sketches.... a timeless design by the lovely Leigh Penner!! See the originals from May of 2015 here. You'll surely find lots of inspiration from the DT, both the 2015 and 2019 versions, so please play along!
The well-loved daisies (Reverse Confetti's 'Flowers for Mom' dies) helped to create this CAS card ..... with the addition of some kraft/white stripes, a few splashes of green and a crisp sentiment.

Happy Thursday! Welcome to CTS #332, and another beautiful design from Donna Mikasa. You'll surely find lots of creative inspiration from the DT too, so take a peek and then play along with us!

The pretty Altenew wreath and a beautiful shade of blue helped to create this card......with a good bit of white space, a little polka dotted embossing and a few sparkle-y jewels too! CAS all the way.

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Kindness'

Thanks for joining us for the newest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Kindness'. The amazing inspiration photo is a wonderful starting point. But that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you try?

The fabulous photo and the amazing kaleidoscope of color helped with this design. I broke out a NBU stencil and ink blended to my heart's content ....  then die cut a wonky stitched front panel and stamped the crisp and clean sentiment in black.

The DT has provided some a-mazing inspiration, so be sure to hop on over and join the party! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together!
