Fusion Card Challenge - 'Merry, Joy, Cheer'

Happy Thursday and welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge, 'Merry, Joy, Cheer'... our last for 2020!! The inspiration photo is all about the Christmas-y/Rae Dunn vibe....but that sketch is pretty great too! So, which will you choose as your inspiration?

My project, taking inspiration from both the photo and the sketch, focuses on the crisp typography, cute little holiday tree and the bright red/white/green color combination. With a few patterned papers, a bit of sparkle and a snippet of twine, this CAS creation is ready for sharing a holiday greeting! While I had all of my patterned papers and die cuts out, I decided to make a little ensemble.... two cards and two tags (see last photo)!!

The DT has created lots of lovelies, so be sure to hop on over and join the party! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together.

Happy Thursday! I'm excited to share with you another awesome sketch from Donna Mikasa, plus some added inspiration from the talented DT! And.... because Thanksgiving is coming up next week, this fun sketch will be a two-week challenge!  

I had some lovely NBUS on my desk (love, love this pretty hydrangea stamp from The Greetery!) and a few miscellaneous patterned papers in hanging around, which was my jumping off point for this CAS 'hello' creation that mostly follows the sketch!!

Lots of lovely white space, pretty little packages/envelopes, a crisp debossed border and a bit of sparkle (much prettier IRL) help to create this crisp and clean 'fa la la' card. All of the packages and envelopes are popped up, as are the berry sprigs, for a bit of dimension.

Welcome to CAS(E) this Sketch #397 AND another of our throw-back/'Retro' Sketches.....  the original is from August 2016! It's a timeless design by the Sam Simpson and you'll surely find lots of inspiration from the 2016 and 2020 versions, so please play along!

Yup, I'm sticking to the sketch very closely, with some lovely heart die cuts and pretty patterned paper..... some NBUS from MFT!! Loving all of the white space, sassy stripes, coordinating envelope liner simple sentiment (The Stamp Market).

The 12 Kits of Occasions - October 2020

Hello friends!! Birgit Norton is the hostess with the most-est for the 12 Kits of Occasions October 2020 'Fall Splendor' kit. The beautifully crisp, clean and colorful ensemble includes some lovely stamped images/sentiments, a fabulous array of pumpkins, apples and leaves, a-mazing die cuts and an autumn-y collection of pretty, pretty patterned papers!

I am so very sorry to be tardy for the 12 Kits party - my apologies. However, I was so happy to finally finish and be able to photograph my 6 projects! I loved the color combinations... the fall hues with the pretty aqua blue is just so pretty! Lots of little details added up to some very lovely cards. AND I used almost every bit of the patterned paper...a first for me!
