The 12 Kits of Occasions - June 2020, 'Love is in the Air'

                

Hello friends!! I am the hostess for the June 2020-12 Kits of Occasions and have created a kit that I am entitling 'Love is in the Air'!  The month of June may include more that a few LOVE related occasions...... bridal showers, weddings, anniversaries (Happy 63rd to my in-laws!!) or perhaps another heartfelt celebration! With that in mind, I've incorporated soft hues of mauve, gray, my favorite periwinkle and a touch of gold,. In addition, there are a few newer items from Concord & 9th, Pinkfresh Studio and The Greetery, some classic Papertrey Ink and The Stamp Market stamps/dies and more than a few additional goodies from the stash (since the pandemic necessitated a bit of 'in house' shopping)!

So, let's celebrate all the beauty and love in our world today.......and please be sure to enjoy all that the DT has to share with you too!! You will find the June 2020 supply list here.

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Relaxed Living'

Welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge... 'Relaxed Living' (and my first contribution in quite a while!). Isn't this just the most lovely/summer-y photo?? But that sketch is great too! So, which will you try?

I was inspired by the beautiful colors and the CAS sketch, and decided to break out some of those pretty patterned papers that I seem to be hoarding (just a bit!). I loved the blue floral and gingham pillow patterns and the greens from the bouquet....  then added  a petite/dimensional floral and the flowing sentiment banner as a finishing touch.

The DT has provided some wonderful inspiration, so be sure to hop on over and join the party! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together.

CAS(E) this Sketch #377

It's time for another great sketch for CTS #377, designed by the talented N@Ali! 
The lovely blooms from Pinkfresh Studio's Layered Bouquet were on my desk, in a few favorite hues, and I chose to combine them with lots of white space, a few sparkles, a classic Spellbinders label die, the Greetery's beautiful Birthday Blooms sentiment die and some embossed polka dots.

My last post was May 4th (GAH!)...... and since then we've moved, gutted a kitchen, installed hardwoods, dealt with Covid-related stop orders, battled a case of sciatica and SO much more! Currently, we are in week 5 of our kitchen reno and I can kind of see the finish line. However, we are still living out of boxes (all with a fine coating of dust!) and I finally went hunting for my camera, computer AND a place to take my photos (nope, didn't find it today!).  Jeez, it's been so long I sorta forgot how to do all of the crafty things!
