Welcome to my addition to the 12 Kits of Occasions-October 2016 Blog Hop! Please accept my apologies for being a bit tardy to this amazing party (took a long overdue vacay with the family!). 

Michele (with one L!) is our hostess for this month and has put together the most wonderful and generous 'Let's Be Thankful' kit...full of the loveliest papers, beautiful die cuts and perfect little embellishments! CAS(E) this Sketch #196

Happy Thursday and welcome to CTS #196! Woo hoo, it's a special week for us as we are CAS(E)ing for a Cause with Karen (felinecreative.blogspot.com).  
While using the sketch as a guide, the DT has been challenged to create pet-themed general and thank you cards, which will be donated to the animal shelter and used to write messages to their many donors and volunteers. 
Frantic Stamper's little kitten die (and a pile of entertaining yarn spools!) was just what I had in mind for this thank you card. Lots of white space and color (and a bit of cute)!

CAS(E) this Sketch #195

Chrissy has created an amazing sketch for CTS #195 that is sure to inspire! Hopefully, you will find that both the fabulous DT and our CTS gallery provide a plethora of pin-worthy projects that will spark you creativity!
On this card you'll see a few shades of rarely used purple, a little corner of loose watercoloring using the appropriately named Watercolor Wonders stamp set (which requires a bit of practice to make it look effortless!) and a bit of subtle splatter.

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Soft and Subtle'

Happy Thursday and welcome to a new Fusion Card Challenge, the 'Soft and Subtle' edition!
Such a beautiful inspiration photo and an equally lovely sketch! There are some amazing DT projects, so be sure to take a peek and, hopefully, be inspired to create away! When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as your jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together!

The floral-filled photo jump started my creation....love, love the varying shades of pink, the soft hints of gray and green and lots of white! I've used my new Gina Marie Scalloped Circles dies in addition to PTI's 'Don't Forget to Write' kit (one of my favorites....beautiful stamps AND dies!) to create this CAS card.

Muse: Christmas Visions #66

I'm playing along for the very first time at the Muse: Christmas Visions #66! Love, love this adorable card from Chriss Blagrave, and her equally adorable little critter.
The mice from PTI's Christmas Critters were the inspiration for my CAS card with a soft blue background, a bit of holiday greenery and lots of lovely white space! Thankfully,  I've got a bit of a head start on my Christmas cards and tags thanks to these cute little mice and the gallery inspiration at Muse: Christmas Visions #66.

CAS(E) this Sketch #194

Happy Thursday and welcome to CTS #194! N@Ali has designed a beautiful sketch... crisp,clean and oh so versatile. The DT creations are sure to inspire too!
There were a few snippets of pp on my always messy crafting desk (love this coral/navy combo!), a polka dotted card base and the "Hello" die that were meant for each other.  Sorry - been a bit obsessed with the Bloomin' Cute (appropriately named!) sentiment dies of late.
Anywaaay.... hope that you'll be joining in at CAS(E) this Sketch #194! Lots to see in the gallery and also an amazing creation from GD, Emily!!

Tag You're It #57

Yes, I may be a bit late to the coffee lovin' party. However, this amazing Altenew stamp set caught my attention.... lots and lots of lovely pots, cups and the perfect coffee sentiments! The Tag You're It #57 Challenge also piqued my interest with Richard Breaks' beautiful tag - embossing, a bit of blending and the perfect bit of shine!
I've played around a bit with a few shades of Distress inks/watercoloring and a lovely die cut tag from Frantic Stamper. Pretty CAS, but conveying my appreciation for (and love of) a great cup o' joe!

CAS(E) this Sketch #193

Just take a peek at this oh-so-pretty sketch that Leigh has designed for CTS #193! Lots of beautiful inspiration from the DT too, so be sure to take a look, get creative, and join in the fun!
I was a little bit obsessed with trying out this persimmon/gray color combo that I'd seen somewhere in Pinterestland. So..... a bit of SSS for the bg, MFT flowers (I won't even guess at how many floral sets I have - never too many!) and a PTI sentiment die keep things clean and simple.

Fusion Card Challenge-'Chairs to You'

Happy Thursday and welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge! I love this one - both the sketch AND the photo inspiration (a-dore those beautiful chairs!). There are some lovely DT projects, so be sure to take a peek and, hopefully, feel inspired to create away! When playing along you may use with the sketch OR the photo as your jumping off point. AND if you are feeling super duper clever you can fuse 'em together! 

I have a vintage Schlosser Designs set that has the cutest chair (and additional little accent stamps too) and have used the photo as my inspiration. I rounded up lots of happy/bright inks, a PPP scalloped frame and PTI sentiment die and went to town (P.S. - I'm not so good at the planning required with masking, so a few of these may have gone into the recycle bin!).

The 12 Kits of Occasions September 2016..... Take Two!

Welcome back to the 12 Kits of Occasions September 2016..... version #2!
I had not given Jeanne's lovely and packed-to-the-gills 'This is Halloween' kit it's due and felt a few more projects might make things right. So, before all of the beautiful bits and pieces were tucked away, I created a few more.
