Here is one more for CTS #108! This was my original creation, 'til I veered off in the Valentine's Day direction. LOVE these colors (see that beautiful, periwinkle-y color there?), which would work for the birthday boy or girl!
Whoo hoo..... I'm playing along with the amazing team at 12 Kits of Occasions! Kelly is the hostess with the most-est and she has put together "A Happy Hello" kit in an array of beautiful colors - coral, blue, teal, aqua. SO, so pretty! Lots of additional bits, so I'll be adding more pics asap!
Please take a peek at what the lovely DT has put together....... beautiful inspiration, fantastically happy colors, etc.!!
Happy Thursday to all! Time for a new sketch... a beauty, courtesy of Gayatri! Once again, I am in Valentine mode. I think that I made about 10 versions of this sketch/card and finally settled on this one - guess that I just liked the high contrast. A little busy perhaps, but the bits on my desk kept arranging and re-arranging!
We hope that you'll join in the fun at CAS(E) this Sketch #108.
P. S. - A warm welcome to this week's GD, Lori Tecler!
It's time to start preparing for a happy heart day - February 14th will be here before you know it! SO MUCH loveliness on the PTI January 2015 Blog Hop.... beautiful inspiration photos and amazing projects that will knock your socks off! I still need to fashion a pretty envelope (and then remember to mail it off in time for Valentine's day!).
I'm so sorry.... just a tiny bit tardy for this CTS #107 party! Here's a fabulous sketch by N@Ali, which I've taken very literally - and have also kept very clean and simple. Yay.... an addition to my Valentine's Day/Anniversary/Love card collection!
Lots of variety from the CAS(E) this Sketch DT, so be sure to take a peek! Hope that you'll join in the fun too!
Yup.... joining in the MIM #197 fun! I loved what Laurie did with her homemade stickers, and was also inspired by Laura's card! I rediscovered my Piece of Cake stamp set and played around a bit until I arrived at something presentable. Love the idea of a neutral background (PTI-Soft Stone/A Muse-Slate), which makes the letters POP! Think I'll try this again (and again) with some neon colors and/or glitter for that extra bit o' pow!
Here's a sketch from Chrissy.... beautifully crisp, clean and graphic! SO many possible interpretations for CTS #106 - just take a peek at what the DT has come up with!
I'm using the Kitschy Kitchen stamp set from Paper Smooches, which I bought solely for the adorable little mixer - but there are many other cute little elements! Hey......like the fork and spoon! Oh how I love that yellow/pink combo.
Join us at CTS#106 - we can't wait to see where your creative wanderings take you!
AND a VERY warm welcome to new DT member, Michele!
Welcome back to CAS(E) this Sketch #105! After a bit of a holiday hiatus I'm feeling refreshed and ready for some new challenges in 2015! Currently it is 3 degrees outside (with a wind chill of -16), so I have many a reason/excuse to stay inside and craft away!
Here's a lovely sketch from Michelle Williams, which provided an opportunity to use some new MFT inks and stamps (and a PTI sentiment). I've taken a bit of creative license with this sketch, but the shape and idea remain..... I hope.
Please join in the fun at CTS #105!
Nope.... I still haven't tired of this Papertrey Ink die! I'm using almost every color of the rainbow and crafting up a storm. A happy result is that I've boosted my birthday card supply a bit! I loved using the gray background (a HA stamp from waaay back!) as the constant and just switched up the die and ink colors. Which do you prefer, the sentiment below the image (in matching color) or a simple black sentiment within the block? Hmmm........
Yay! Another chance to jump in at Papertrey's Make It Monday! The MIM #193 technique was one that I've often admired (usually on one of Laura's cards, which I'm sure is not a coincidence!). I missed this challenge the first time around due to two birthdays and lots of holiday prep, so am very happy to get a second chance to give it a try! Such a pretty effect... look at a few other beauties here, here and here! Definitely trying this again and again!
Happy New Year to all! And.... an opportunity for creative time that involves something other than holiday tags and/or cards! Not that I don't thoroughly enjoy that kind of crafting, but time to use some new stuff. I'm just a little obsessed with my new PTI Phrase Play #11 die and have been trying lots of colors, and therefore, lots of bits and pieces to arrange and re-arrange!
