12 Kits of Occasions - REWIND!

Hi all! I am SO excited to join in the fun over at 12 Kits of Occasions Blog, where this month you will see not only the amazing DT's creations, but also cards/projects from many of the 2014 Guest Designers! The idea is to use those remaining supplies from any/all previous kits. And, let me tell ya', those kits are usually packed to the gills with great die cuts, CS, patterned papers, stamped images, etc.! I was very fortunate to have been the January 2014 guest and as I still had a few bits and pieces remaining, I've contributed a few cards to this "Rewind" month.

Well, it seems that I am on a bit of a holiday card binge and CAS(E) this Sketch #94 is the perfect inspiration (thank you Donna!).  One can never have enough Christmas/Holiday/New Year cards, in my humble opinion. Perhaps we will even send out a few cards this year!!

CAS(E) this Sketch #93!

Happy Thursday to all! CAS(E) this Sketch #93 is back with a lovely sketch from Gayatri! And, oh, just wait until you see what the DT has crafted.  So many different takes, so much creative swag goin' on! 
It used to concern me that my version of a sketch was often quite different than the other DT team members. But I guess that this is kind of the point, right? I love to look at other challenge blog and see variety and, frequently, a style that jives with my own esthetic (thus, jump starting my creativity!). Hope that CTS #93 does the same for you -please join in!!

Guess that I was bound and determined to use this cute stamp set again, which I believe I purchased a few years ago during a phenomenal sale at Michael's! I bought the baby boy version too.... probably because it was marked down to $1.99!! You just never know when these bargains might come in handy!

Jumpin' right in with this lovely sketch by Sam! I am still a little obsessed with my DCWV Little Miss patterned papers... just love that pink and yellow combination! The flags, twine/bows add a bit of dimension too!

Happy Thursday to all! Oh, such a pretty sketch by N@Ali! And, yes, I have vowed to step away (at least momentarily!) from the floral stamps. Thus, there's a snowflake stepping in for that perfectly placed flower. I attempted a few other creations, from rustic to a bit busier, but made an effort to keep this really clean and really simple. Too simple perhaps? However, diagonal stripes are a thing of beauty and will pretty up any design. And... the Soft Stone/Smokey Shadow combo makes this a bit more muted/subtle, so the pop of color was much needed.

Hope that you'll join in the fun at CTS #91 and will enjoy all that the DT has created!
