Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2016

Welcome to the final day of the Papertrey 10th Year Celebration, where we are celebrating Papertey's most current designs! My choice? The fabulous 2016 Anniversary set, Painted Petals.
Truth be told, I acquired this set at the behest of my lovely MIL (an early birthday gift), and then 'borrowed' it back (because I love it so).  Such a beautiful floral set with an abundance of possibilities! I could literally play. for. hours.
For this project I've created a pretty yellow, layered background with the lovely daisy-like flower and then added a fabulous sentiment, scalloped curve and bow of b/w twine. Wouldn't this card be lovely in each and every PTI color?

Stamps: Painted Petals
Inks: Lemon Tart, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry, Spring Moss
Dies: Heart Border Die, Sentiment Splits: Curve Vertical Die

And....  a CAS one from the not so distant past. Love, love the Soft Stone background!

Now that I have showcased how this product from the past has remained a classic, it's your turn to share your ideas for the future! Stop by Nichole's blog to share a new project you make with this product, or just share a creation that is somehow inspired by what I made today. Be sure to get crafting and enter today so you can be eligible for a fantastic prize!
You can also hop around to the other DT girls participating in today's blog hop to see what set they selected from the 2016 line up!

Many thanks for taking a peek at the year 2016!

Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2014

Leave-It-Be-Webview

Welcome to Day 8 of Papertrey Ink's 10th Year Celebration! I've chosen 2014's Leave It Be, a beautiful stamp set that can stand on it's own OR in combination with so many of the Papertrey florals. And the two step option adds that little somethin' somethin'. I first fell in love with Leave It Be when I saw the crisp and clean projects that the DT had created for the February 2014 release, but was intrigued by the layered, softer look as well.

Stamps: Leave It Be, Tinsel and Tags Sprigs, Mini Blooms
Inks: Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides, Enchanting Evening, Simply Chartreuse
Cardstock: Cream Linen, Aqua Mist

And..... another from my stash (clearly inspired by the 2014 DT creations from Dawn and Heather)!

Now that I have showcased how this product from the past has remained a classic, it's your turn to share your ideas for the future! Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2012

Celebrations-webview
Welcome to Day 6 of Papertrey Ink's 10th Year Celebration! I've been so impressed and inspired by each and every celebratory post....and the amazing galleries too! Papertrey stamps are truly timeless.
Today I am creating with the Celebrations stamps from 2012. This set has a wonderful blend of sentiments, both large and small, that can be combined in so many ways. And then there's that fabulous frame to fancy things up a bit. I remember seeing this stamp set in combination with Rosie Posie and Mat Stack 5 and being completely smitten. Yup.... I had to have it all.
I've kept things quite CAS in a red, white and gray color combination, a single Celebrations sentiment and the amazing By the Numbers dies.

Stamps: Celebrations
Ink: Versamark Embossing
Dies: By the Numbers, Tag Sale: Quilted

And, of course, here's another from my craft cave card cache. Doesn't that Bloom Builders #3 die make the greatest layered flower?? All of that 'Happy' stamping would've been SO much easier if only I'd had a Misti back in 2012!

Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2010

The Vault - Take Three: Summer Stamp SetHappy Tuesday and welcome to Day 4 of Papertrey Ink's 10th Anniversary Celebration, where we are highlighting stamps from the year 2010! I've chosen to create with the Take Tree: Summer stamp, which includes not only a trio of adorable little birds, but also three beautiful floral images. And the petite sentiments, with a lovely blend of fonts, are just perfect for a variety of occasions! I've used my 1" and 1 1/8" punches to add the layered circles. Love, love the kraft card stock with these bolder PTI ink colors!

Stamps: Take Three: Summer
Inks: Pure Poppy, Ocean Tides, Blueberry Sky, Raspberry Fizz, Dark Chocolate
Rustic Jute Button Twine

And, oh look, another vintage card (from my much too large stash!).
Clearly, I was inspired by Dawn's lovely creation!

Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2008

The Vault - Floral Frenzy Stamp Set
A happy hello and welcome to the second day of Papertrey Ink's 10th Anniversary celebration (and my very first official PTI post!!) where we are highlighting stamps from the year 2008! I have chosen the lovely Floral Frenzy - a beautiful set which includes both solid and outlined daisy-like images. Endless possibilities and classic designs!
I've opted to utilize the lovely polka dots from Floral Frenzy in a rainbow of Papertrey Ink colors with lots of white space, a pretty scalloped frame and one shiny little enamel heart.  Just loving all of the happy colors!

Stamps: Floral Frenzy
Dies: Make It Market: Shakers & Sprinkles, Tag Sale #10

Oh, and here's an additional card from waaaaay back in the day! An authentic circa 2008 creation.

Papertrey Ink Design Team 2017!

Oh my. Wait. Who? Me? Design Team?
The oh-so-gracious invitation to join the Papertrey Ink's team was right there...... in an email from Nichole. Heady stuff I tell ya' (pun intended)!
Words cannot adequately express the joy, excitement and gratitude that I feel to be joining this amazingly talented group of women - designers, and designs, that I have admired from afar since literally day one, when I purchased that very first 'Paper Tray Stamp Set'.

And now, here were are, celebrating TEN years of Papertrey Ink! An amazing 10 Day Celebration is planned, which will feature stamp sets from the past ten years. My first 10th Year Celebration post will take place on February 12th, and will feature one of my favorites from 2008!
I can only hope that a teeny, tiny bit of this team's talents, energies and enthusiasm will rub off on me!
SO happy to have you along to share this wonderful new adventure!

Michele has created a most beautiful sketch for CTS #207 that's sure to inspire one and all. And, I'm confident that the amazing DT will also provide lots of loveliness for us to o-o-h and a-h-h over!
I've kept it super duper simple. Lots of white space, a bit of texture in the wonky frame, some beautiful Sea Shore colors with a pop of Raspberry Fizz, the sunburst-y images from Fall Florals, a simple sentiment and some teeny-tiny hearts (that, amazingly, did not fall on the floor, where they'd be forever lost!).
We hope that you'll join in at CAS(E) this Sketch #207. Can't wait to see your masterpiece!
P.S. - Please welcome our fabulous GD, Rosemary!
